The 2022 Cadillac XT6 is now available with a new Onyx Lite Package (RPO code PCP), GM Authority can confirm.
The Onyx Lite Package is an optional equipment group offered on the Cadillac XT6 Sport trim level only. It features all the same equipment as the regular Onyx Package, but without the LPO-level Gloss Black grille (RPO code SJA). That leaves the following equipment in the Onyx Lite Package:
- 20-inch Gloss Black wheels (RPO S2K)
- Gloss Black bodyside moldings (RPO RWK)
- Gloss Black rear license plate applique (RPO RXX)
- Gloss Black front fascia applique (RPO QJ5)
- Gloss Black exhaust bezel (RPO VMP)
- Monochrome Cadillac emblems (RPO SFZ)
Pricing for the Onyx Lite Package is set at $3,795. The full Onyx Package, which is unavailable to order at the moment, usually costs $4,695 to apply on Luxury and Premium Luxury trim levels and $4,095 to apply on the Sport trim level. The Onyx Lite package is only available with the Sport trim and cannot be applied to the Luxury or Premium Luxury trims.
As a reminder, the 2022 Cadillac XT6 is powered by a turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY engine, rated at 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The Premium Luxury trim level, along with the Sport trim level that the Onyx Lite Package is offered with, comes standard with the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX motor, which makes 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are paired with GM’s nine-speed automatic transmission. The Luxury and Premium Luxury are both available with front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is optional for those versions, and standard on the Sport.
It’s currently not clear when, or if, the regular Onyx Package will return to the 2022 Cadillac XT6 order books.
