The 2022 Buick Enclave is available with two headlight cluster designs – one of which is only offered on the lavishly appointed Avenir trim level.
The 2022 Buick Enclave Avenir is offered with an Avenir Technology Package, which is a $1,595 equipment group that includes unique Avenir-specific headlamps. This package also includes some other items, so here’s the full rundown (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):
- Premium Ride 4-wheel independent performance suspension (RPO FE5)
- Chassis continuously variable real time damping (RPO F45)
- Headlamps with enhanced Avenir design (RPO UWN)
These Avenir-specific headlamps do not offer additional lighting performance and simply take on a different, more upscale design to further set the Avenir trim level apart from lesser trims, a Buick spokesperson confirmed to GM Authority. The design difference between the two is subtle, with the upgraded lamp featuring more defined LED light traces, and thus many passersby may not notice.
The Avenir trim level for the Enclave introduces unique front and rear fasciae to the crossover, along with unique interior trim appliques, a chrome cargo sill plate, heated/ventilated massaging front seats, adaptive cruise control and enhanced automatic emergency braking, among other high-end equipment. Buick is slowly expanding its Avenir trim level to its entire model range, with the automaker also offering it on the latest iteration of the Envision.
Power in the 2022 Buick Enclave comes from the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LFY gasoline engine, which produces 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque. The engine is mated to a GM nine-speed automatic transmission and standard front-wheel-drive, with all-wheel-drive available for a price premium.
Pricing for the 2022 Buick Enclave Avenir starts at $56,295 including destination and freight charges (DFC). As noted above, the Avenir Technology Package that adds the unique headlamp design costs another $1,595. Production of the crossover takes place at the GM Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan, where it’s built alongside the closely related Chevy Traverse.

Uhhhhhh….yeah. Good to see the designers are getting paid good money for “important” things here. What’s next, hey, you can swap out the engine cover to a different color if you don’t like the black one. It will cost you $2000.00 extra. Oh GM….
Value added or profit enhancer ?
A little weird but not a big deal to me that these are thrown in with a suspension package. But, do you really give up IntelliBeam with them?
TQ5 IntelliBeam, auto high beam control
1 – Not available with (CWM) Avenir Technology Package.
…that seems a lot weird. Anyone know about that?
