Holley Shows Off Its RetroBright LED Headlights On Chevy C10 Pickup: Video

Holley has released a video showing a technician installing a set of its new RetroBright LED headlamps on a Chevy C10 pickup.

While Holley is well-known in the automotive aftermarket scene for its electronic fuel injection solutions and performance engine parts, it recently expanded into automotive lighting, too. The RetroBright line of products are intended to bring modern-day lighting capability to classic cars, hot rods and restomods without altering the appearance of the headlight bezel or lighting signature.

These lights are designed to fit most retro vehicles or classics that utilize the popular 5.7-inch round, 7-inch round, 4×6 rectangular, and 5×7 rectangular headlight housings. Customers can choose between a more modern bright white light temperature (5700 Kelvins) and a retro classic white (3000 Kelvins). They are also offered with a euro-style yellow lens, with these lights utilizing the bright white 5700K bulbs.

“Keep your truck’s classic good looks intact while adding the clear, clean light of LED headlights with the help of Holley RetroBright,” Holley says of its new lighting products. “Available in multiple sizes and light colors to suit your tastes, these plug-and-play SAE-compliant headlights make a great addition to your classic hauler.”

These headlights are fairly straightforward to install, as most classic round and rectangular headlamp designs are mounted via four bracket screws. After removing the bracket screws, all the user has to do is unplug and remove the existing headlamp assemblies, plug in the new ones and screw them in. Most headlights have some sort of cover or trim pieces that cover the headlight brackets, though, so those will have to be removed as well.

  1. Wow, not long ago it was so simple to change a headlight bulb. Now you need the Manual and take the front fascia apart. Nice Square-body.

  2. These look awesome and would be perfect for updating my 3rd gen Camaro. Unfortunately at $180 bucks ea. x4…..that’ll be a hard NO for me.

  3. This is one of the few cases adding an LED actually works right. The housings are made for LED vs just putting a bulb in them with a lens designed for a Halogen.

Many people have no idea that an LED often needs Indexed. They may be brighter but not always usable light.

    1. This is spot on. Many times the actual usable light isn’t any better and then it also just blinds on coming traffic. People need to stop putting those type of bulbs in halogen set ups.

  4. Just as an FYI, since this article Holley has apparently added a “-1” to the part numbers. I’ve seen some sellers offloading the earlier part numbers for cheaper. No idea what changed, but might want to be a bit careful of what you are buying…I assume the earlier ones were ok, but obviously Holley changed something. And price seems to have come down a bit too.
