Next up in the refreshed 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 lineup is the SLE, which is priced from C$51,598 for the Double Cab model equipped with the 2.7L L3B engine and rear-wheel-drive. The Elevation trim level with the same body and powertrain/drivetrain configuration is priced from C$54,798. As some readers will already know, the AT4X is only offered with the 6.2l L87 V8 gasoline engine.
The luxuriously appointed Denali trim level starts at C$76,598 with the 5.3L L84 V8, while the new-for-2022 Denali Ultimate, which now serves as the range-topping trim is priced from a steep C$94,698. The Denali Ultimate is also only offered with the 6.2L L87 V8 engine.
Just like refreshed 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500, the 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 lineup is more expensive than the 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Limited. The refreshed model offers multiple improvements over the outgoing Limited, including a redesigned exterior, a heavily overhauled interior with new technologies and the addition of new available trims like the AT4X and Denali Ultimate. The pickup sticks with the GM T1 platform, with production taking place at the GM Fort Wayne Assembly facility in Indiana and GM Silao Plant in Mexico.

These trucks should be made in china to lower the costs.
Buy the truck, but no gas !
Is this proportional to the Silverado’s price increase in Canada?
Chevy Canada shows the new 2.7 high output maintains the same fuel economy as the old lower spec 2.7. At least that’s what the powertrain comparison says in the build and price configurator. 17mpg city 20mpg highway.
I have a Denali Ultimate ordered here in Canada. Just received notice that it will be built the week of April 11. I’m ecstatic! Contrary to the article on pricing mine is equipped with the 3.0 Duramax. Both it and the 6.2 gas are available in the Ultimate . Colin
When did you place your order if you don’t mind me asking? I ordered an ultimate as well back in late January and was hoping to get some idea on when they might produce mine!
No mortgage and kids ,or just rich ?Good luck!
Trying to order the same truck here in BC. The dealer has no clue how to order the Ultimate or what the price would be. Did you receive your truck? Did it arrive with all the bells and whistles, or were some deleted because of the chip shortage. Thank you
Brad, I placed the order as soon as the order book opened. It was around Dec 18th. Equipped with Duramax, white frost paint and a few smaller options. Price was 96,300. Would you ever have believed you could pay that much for a half ton. Used to buy them for 5 grand. Now you know how old I am. Lol
So why did you!
My dealer let me know today that the build will occur the week of June 6. This seems to be final now after many delays on the build. Next thing they expect will happen is a serial number will be sent to them. According to my dealer no Ultimates have been built for retail yet
Colin, do you know where it would be built please? Mexico / US / Oshawa?
Thanks
I don’t know where it will be built. I asked the same question. Will not know until actual date set. It will not be built in Oshawa as only Silverados are being built there. Both the 1500 and HD.It could be Mexico or two plants in the US. I hope US then I’ll get it faster. As far as build quality I think it’s all the same.
