The Cadillac Blackwing sedans, which include the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing and 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, both offer customers optional carbon fiber styling packages that add on a bevy of composite bits for the exterior. However, what happens if one of those carbon fiber components is damaged? Are owners forced to order the complete package, or can they acquire replacement parts separately?
To find out, GM Authority reached out to Cadillac for an answer. As it turns out, Cadillac Blackwing owners can order standalone items from the carbon fiber packages in the event that they need a replacement part. That said, only Cadillac Blackwing owners have access to these parts.
“If a single piece is damaged, a customer could request to receive a replacement part through their dealer rather than ordering another full package,” a Cadillac spokesperson told GM Authority.
Both Cadillac Blackwing sedans offer their own individual carbon fiber packages. The packages for the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing include the Carbon Fiber 1 Package, priced at $4,350 and tagged with RPO code CFZ, and the Carbon Fiber 2 Package, priced at $2,650 and tagged with RPO code CFV. Meanwhile, the packages for the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing include the Carbon Fiber 1 Package, priced at $4,100 and tagged with RPO code CF1, and the Carbon Fiber 2 Package, priced at $5,230 and tagged with RPO code CF2.
The content for each of the packages is listed below:
2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Carbon Fiber 1 Package (CFZ):

- Rear extra aero spoiler
2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Carbon Fiber 2 Package (CFV):
