2023 Corvette Stingray Base Price Announced In The U.S.

General Motors has confirmed U.S. pricing for the 2023 Corvette Stingray.

The 2023 Corvette Stingray will be priced from $63,195 including a $1,295 destination/freight charge for the base 1LT trim level. This represents a ~$1,000 increase over the 2022 Corvette Stingray, which starts at $62,145 including a $1,295 destination freight charge. Pricing for the high-performance 2023 Corvette Z06 has not yet been divulged.

GM also confirmed U.S. pricing for the new 70th Anniversary Edition package (RPO code Y70) this week, which is only available on the range-topping 3LT trim and will cost $5,995. The optional 70th Anniversary Edition body stripes are extra, adding another $995 to the price tag. This package can be ordered on both the standard 2023 Corvette Stingray, as well as the 2023 Corvette Z06.

The 70th Anniversary Edition package includes unique wheels for Stingray and Z06 models, which have a similar dark finish and an Edge Red lip stripe, along with a two-tone Ceramic leather GT2 or Competition Sport seats, red stitching, red seatbelts, suede microfiber seat inserts and a suede steering wheel. The package also adds some exterior cosmetic equipment, including:

  • 70th Anniversary Edition exterior badging, including special Corvette crossflags
  • Edge Red brake calipers
  • 70th Anniversary Edition logo on seats, steering wheel and sill plates
  • Rear bumper protector and trunk cover
  • Custom luggage set with red stitching and 70th Anniversary Edition logo

GM has added some new options and features to the vehicle’s order books, too. This includes new optional Black Exhaust Tips (RPO NGA) for the NPP performance exhaust, which cost $200, and a new Stealth Aluminum Interior Trim (RPO BAZ) option for $595. Lastly, Chevy has added a new Adrenaline Red Dipped Interior color, which is a no-cost option available with the 3LT trim level only.

Chevy is not expected to apply major mechanical changes to the 2023 Corvette Stingray. The standard naturally aspirated 6.2L LT2 V8 gasoline engine will likely remain unchanged, producing 495 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque when equipped with the optional Performance Exhaust. An eight-speed dual-clutch transmission will send power to the rear wheels, enabling a zero to 60 mph time of around three seconds.

Despite the 2023 Corvette Stingray remaining largely unchanged, the 2023 model year will see the introduction of the hotly anticipated Corvette Z06 model variant. The new Z06 is powered by GM’s naturally aspirated 5.5L V8 LT6 gasoline engine, rated at 670 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque, and also features unique widebody exterior styling and lightweight wheels shod in sticky summer tires. The optional Z07 Performance Package further enhances the vehicle’s performance, adding carbon-ceramic brakes and extreme aerodynamic elements like a deep front splitter, dive planes and a large rear wing.

Production of the 2023 Corvette Stingray and 2023 Corvette Z06 will commence at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky on Monday, May 9th, 2022.
