2023 Corvette Stingray 70th Anniversary Wheels Spotted

General Motors is set to offer a new 70th Anniversary Edition model with the launch of the 2023 Corvette, celebrating seven decades of the Chevy Corvette nameplate with a selection of unique upgrades and tweaks. Now, we’re getting what appears to be an early look at the 2023 Corvette Stingray 70th Anniversary Edition, specifically the model’s new wheels and exhaust treatment.

Although General Motors previously unveiled the 2023 Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary Edition, the automaker has yet to officially pull the sheets on the 2023 Corvette Stingray 70th Anniversary Edition. That said, a Michigan Chevy dealer salesperson recently posted photos of what appears to be a 2023 Corvette Stingray 70th Anniversary Edition wrapped up and set to head to GM’s Milford Proving Ground.

Most notable is the model’s new wheel design, which features red striping around the outermost rim, as well as a technical multi-spoke design and dark finish. Also check out those black exhaust tips integrated with the rear bumper and housed in the outer corners of the rear fascia, another feature likely offered with the 2023 Corvette Stingray 70th Anniversary Edition.

The wheel design looks to line up with the 2023 Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary Edition quite nicely, which, as seen in the official reveal images from GM, features a different wheel design, but the same red striping around the outer rim.

As a nod to the Chevy Corvette nameplate’s 70th birthday, the 2023 Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary Edition will be available in two unique exterior paint colors, including White Pearl Metallic Tri-coat with optional Satin Gray stripes, and Carbon Flash Metallic with optional Satin Black stripes. The cabin space will offer the option for either two-tone Ceramic leather GT2 seats or Competition Sport seats, as well as contrasting red stitching and seatbelts, sueded microfiber seat inserts, and a suede steering wheel.

Further tweaks will include unique badging, Edge Red painted brake calipers, an Edge Red engine cover, a unique rear bumper protector/trunk cover, and a custom luggage set. As a reminder, the eighth-generation C8 Corvette rides on the Y2 platform, while production takes place at the GM Bowling Green facility in Kentucky.

      2. You laugh but I swear that 80% of C7 and C8 Corvettes I see on the road are driven by super angry looking old men. The only other vehicles with such angry looking drivers are the lifted trucks, but that makes sense, I mean, I’d be angry to if I wasted all that money on a truck that’s so terrible to drive on public roads!

  4. Finally! Stingray is getting forged aluminum wheels, and not the crappy cast aluminum wheels.

  6. Wonder how long someone keeps there job when they design theses ugly ass wheels, first thing most due is order aftermarket and switch them out, just like the trucks and other vehicles. I’m chevy fan all the way but personally feel they have a long way to go on wheel design. Put some surface on these spokes, some offset and some deep dish on that lip!

    1. Interesting how there is a set of people that insist that the first thing to change is the wheels. It has always been true. So when I kept my stock as delivered fully functional light weight and strong wheels, people were asking
me where I got those, because no one keeps the stock wheels, so mine looks unique and custom.
In the old days we changed wheels for performance, weight, strength. Oh wait, unless you were a dress-up queen poser.

  7. Just remember… 70 years since first one, only produced for 67 years though..

  8. 1953 TO 2023 EQUALS 70 YEARS OF PRODUCTION

  9. one year in the 60s, one year in the 70s and one year in the 80s the Corvettes were NOT produced….Look it up. SO, 70 years since release of the first one, MINUS 3 years of ZERO production…= 67 years…
or…How about this…Camaro…1967 to 2022…..55 years of production right?

  10. Had a ’20…now have my ’22…both had different wheels…hated ’em all. It’s been a while since Corvette had cool wheels. Simple works…aka:Ferrari. This vette stuff is so busy…looks like Gramma’s lace doiley. There is a reason so many owners are dumping the stock wheels.
