Just yesterday, GM Authority provided coverage of the latest price increase put in place for the 2022 Chevy Tahoe, and now, we’re here to outline a new price increase put in place for the 2022 Chevy Suburban.
Per the latest pricing information, General Motors has increased the MSRP for all trim levels and configurations of the 2022 Chevy Suburban. These new price increases follow an initial price increase put in place late last November, at which time all trim levels and configurations received an MSRP increase of $500 across the board as compared to the prices outlined at order start for the 2022 model year.
The latest price increases for each 2022 Chevy Suburban trim level are as follows:
- LS: +$350
- LT: +$450
- Z71: +$750
- RST: +$750
- Premier: +$800
- High Country: +$700

The Chevy Suburban has shown decent sales strength as of late, with a 28-percent increase in sales last year as compared to the 2020 calendar year, with 48,214 units sold in 2021 as compared to the 37,636 units sold in 2020. The latest sales figures place the Suburban in fourth with regard to the full-size SUV segment.

The 2022 Chevy Suburban is the second model year for nameplate’s latest twelfth-generation, introducing a handful of changes and updates as compared to the all-new 2021 model year.
With regard to the greasy bits, the 2022 Chevy Suburban is available with either the atmospheric 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine, the atmospheric 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, or the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax. Under the body panels is the GM T1 platform, with production taking place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.
