2022 Cadillac XT4 Onyx Package Unavailable To Order

The 2022 Cadillac XT4 is the fourth model year of the first-generation crossover nameplate, arriving with a few minor changes and updates over the preceding 2021 model year. Now, GM Authority has learned that the 2022 Cadillac XT4 is unavailable to order with the Onyx Package.

The Onyx Package for the 2022 Cadillac XT4 includes a selection of exterior aesthetic upgrades, and is tagged with RPO code PDB. Pricing for the package is set at $2,695 package, and it’s normally offered on all trim levels of the 2022 Cadillac XT4, including the Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport.

The 2022 Cadillac XT4’s Onyx Package included the following content (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):

  • Black surround grille with Black mesh (RZ9)
  • 20-inc Gloss Black Wheels (SKW)
  • Monochrome Cadillac emblems (SFZ)

As GM Authority covered previously, the 2022 Cadillac XT4 is also unavailable to order with the optional all-weather floor mats and liners, including the All-weather front and rear floor mats (RPO code VAV) and the All-weather front and rear floor liner (RPO code RIA). Both features were previously available as LPO-level options, which means they were installed by the dealer, rather than at the factory. Pricing for the All-weather front and rear floor mats was set at $175, while pricing for the All-weather front and rear floor liner was $220.

Furthermore, the 2022 Cadillac XT4 currently offers limited availability for the Reverse Automatic Braking feature, as GM Authority covered previously.

As a reminder, the 2022 Cadillac XT4 is available with a single powerplant option, namely the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, rated at 235 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 258 pound-feet of torque at 1,500 rpm. The LSY engine connects to the GM 9-speed automatic transmission, with front-wheel drive as standard, and all-wheel drive as an optional upgrade.

Under the skin, the 2022 Cadillac XT4 rides on the GM E2 platform, while production takes place at the GM Fairfax factory in Kansas City.
