2022 Cadillac XT4 Gets New Onyx Lite Package

The 2022 Cadillac XT4 crossover is now available to order with a new Onyx Lite Package, GM Authority has learned.

2022 Cadillac XT4 with Onyx Lite Package

The Onyx Lite Package for the 2022 Cadillac XT4 is a dealer-installed, LPO-level cosmetic equipment package that offers similar equipment to the standard Onyx Package, which is currently unavailable to order on the compact luxury crossover. Tagged with RPO code PCP, the Onyx Lite Package adds the following equipment (relevant RPO codes in parentheses):

  • 20-inch Gloss Black wheels (RPO SKW)
  • P245/45R20 all-season tires (RPO XD9)
  • Gloss Black XT4 nameplate (RPO RIK)
  • Monochrome Cadillac emblems (RPO SFZ)

This new cosmetic package will be available across all Cadillac XT4 trim levels. Available trim levels on the Cadillac XT4 include Luxury, Premium Luxury and Sport. Pricing for the Onyx Lite Package has not yet been announced, however these items would cost a total of $2,495 if they were ordered separately. Equipment packages typically offer a small discount for bundling all the equipment together, so we expect the Onyx Lite Package to cost a bit less than that.

As a reminder, the currently unavailable Onyx Package typically costs $2,695 to order and includes the following equipment (relevant RPO codes in parentheses):

  • Black surround grille with Black mesh (RPO RZ9)
  • 20-inch Gloss Black Wheels  (RPO SKW)
  • P245/45R20 all-season tires (RPO XD9)
  • Monochrome Cadillac emblems (RPO SFZ)

Strangely, the only difference between the Onyx Lite Package and the regular Onyx Package is the Black surround grille with Black mesh (RPO RZ9), however this item is still available to order on the Cadillac XT4 as a standalone option for $580. It’s therefore unclear why the Onyx Package is unavailable to order at the moment.

As a reminder, the 2022 Cadillac XT4 is available with a single powerplant option: GM’s turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, rated at 235 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 258 pound-feet of torque at 1,500 rpm. The LSY engine connects to the GM 9-speed automatic transmission, with front-wheel drive as standard, and all-wheel drive as an optional upgrade. The crossover rides on the GM E2 platform and is produced at the GM Fairfax Assembly plant in Kansas City.

  1. I feel like the XT4, 5, and 6 are outdated and the Escalades and sedans are way sharper!

Had a SKY REDLINE 2.0 ECOTECH 260HP, a boost from a GM kit taking it up to 290 HP. A GM Engineer told Me it was actually 325HP. That baby would fly!!!
