The optional Rally Edition package for the refreshed 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 full-size pickup is now available to order, GM Authority can confirm.

The Rally Edition package, which was previously unavailable to order with the refreshed 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500, is an optional cosmetic appearance package offered on the Custom and RST trim levels only. The package, tagged with RPO code PCH, includes the following equipment:

  • Black Rally Stripes

  • Black Silverado and trim level badging
  • Black assist steps, LPO (RPO RVS)
  • 20-inch High gloss Black painted aluminum wheels (RPO RD5)
  • Black Bowties (steering wheel horn pad and front grille, Custom trim level only)
  • Chevytec spray-on bed liner (Custom trim level only, RPO CGN)
  • Black Chrome exhaust tip, LPO (Custom trim level only)
  • Protection Package (RST trim level only, RPO WPQ)

On the RST trim level, the above-mentioned 20-inch High Gloss Black wheels (RPO RD5) can optionally be swapped for the 22-inch High Gloss Black Wheels (RPO SGM) for a price premium. The Rally Edition package can only be ordered in conjunction with the following exterior paint colors as well:

  • Red Hot (paint code G7C)
  • Silver Ice Metallic (paint code GAN)
  • Summit White (paint code GAZ)
  • Black (paint code GBA)
  • Glacier Blue Metallic (paint code GLT)

Exterior photos of the 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 with the Rally Edition package are currently not available, as the online configurator tool for the pickup has yet to go live on the automaker’s website. This tool, which allows shoppers to view the truck in various body styles and specifications, and pick their preferred features and options, is expected to go live on March 3rd.

As GM Authority reported previously, production of the 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 will begin at the GM Silao Assembly facility in Mexico on February 21st, while the GM Fort Wayne Assembly facility in Indiana will begin building the refreshed truck on March 14th. Production was previously set to begin at the two plants a couple of weeks earlier, however GM pushed the start date back due to the fluid nature of the supply chain and challenging overall market environment. The pickup will also eventually enter production at the GM Oshawa Plant in Canada in the spring of 2022.

Prices for the refreshed 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 will start at $33,195 including destination and freight charges for the entry-level Work Truck trim level. Pricing for the Rally Edition package has not yet been disclosed.

        1. gm fan – exactly ha ha ha!! I do it all the time. I was kinda looking forward to building a 2wd single cab short bed, but GM crushed my excitement when they announced that it’s only coming with a four banger. Talk about a buzz kill. Well I guess I will continue to build Camaro ZL1’s and CT5 Blackwings which I can’t afford.

        2. Soon as truck month returns I’ll be placing an order. Not paying sticker price or any BS ‘market adjustment ‘
I want the configurator to confirm the 3.73 gear can be optioned on the 3.0 diesel with 6.5ft bed crew cab and other unique option combos. Igointo the dealer and they are all just yes-men when I know some things aren’t accurate

          1. Email me if you have questions. Cole(dot)gagliano(at)Genesischevy.com. I ordered an RST 3.0L diesel with max trailering for a commenter on this website, that unit should be built next week. It did upgrade it to the 3.73. In fact I had to contact GM about it because the ordering system didn’t initially allow it even tho it was possible according to the order guide.
