GM has announced it will offer unique Appreciation Experiences to holders of its revised My GM Rewards Card program, which it launched in cooperation with investment bank Goldman Sachs and credit card company Mastercard back in January.
The automaker says its new Appreciation Experiences for My GM Rewards cardholders will give customers access to unique entertainment and social events in the United States. The inaugural Appreciation Experience will be held during the Duel at Daytona qualifying races on Thursday, February 17th, where select My GM Rewards cardholders will be invited to an exclusive tailgate party “with premium food and beverage, interactive experiences and games.” Richard Childress Racing driver and Daytona 500 champion Austin Dillon will also be in attendance at the event to mingle with cardholders and other VIPs.
The My GM Rewards Card is a Mastercard credit card that allows users to earn and redeem points toward buying or leasing a new GM vehicle, or toward purchasing parts, accessories, paid Certified Service and select OnStar and Connected Services plans. The reward program allows customers to accumulate 7X points for every dollar spent at GM and 4X points for every dollar spent everywhere else. The card offers other benefits, as well, including automatic Gold tier membership in My GM Rewards and a $50 annual allowance for vehicle detailing at a GM dealer. My GM Rewards cardholders can also choose their card design to reflect their preferred GM brand, including Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Cadillac, or the new lowercase GM logo.
The new iteration of the My GM Rewards card is an extension of the existing My GM Rewards program, which first launched in 2018 as the industry’s first automotive rewards-based customer loyalty program. GM owners and customers can register for the My GM Rewards Card online at this link.

And thus GM’s crazy EV craze. Goldman Sachs was recently taken over by Blackrock holdings…. the infamous globalist capital corporation inbedded with China and has declared “by 2030 you will own nothing and be happy about it.” Its hard for GM to argue with their main investor.
Is this a fact? If so I`m ditching my GM card!
Yup look up the recent Goldman Sachs takeover.
Thanks!
No problem. It’s crazy to learn who actually owns who. I swear some of these things I know they wish were not public information.
FYI. Had the GM Card since 1993.
GM in their typical wisdom picked Marcus Goldman Sachs as the bank to replace Capital One which has administered the card since HSBC.
They had months to prepare for the changeover. They claimed you could continue to use the existing cards. Well the day arrived, all three of our cards were turned off. Tried to call Marcus GM over 20 times. 4-5 hour wait time. Went on for two weeks. Still don’t have a working GM card.
Long story short, I’ve sent for a Capital One card. Bye bye GM. Bye bye GM trucks. Too many problems. No service.
Beware of Marcus GM. Customer service is non existent.
So cheap even the credit card is plastic can’t even afford metal.
Oh, dear! Handing the servant a plastic card at your restricted country club, instead of a metal one. Dear heavens, what will the other members think of you!?!? It’s bad enough your buying GM cars rather than something made in Germany.
Horrors!
I wish all banks and credit cards would do one of two thing. Either make the cards where the mag strip on the back won’t break so dang easy in 6 months or change to another material. I have seen metal cards and the fix the mag strip problem completely. For me no matter what I try to do they always break after about 6 months in my wallet I’ve even tried moving them to one side but nope always break at the mag strip.
Kevin, not to get too personal but it may be that you have too shapely a caboose? I am a fat guy with a pancake rear and I’ve never had a card break or even permanently bend in my wallet.
Gm hires a Biden and now story how Hunter had hand in China buying African precious metal mine owned by American company. It all fits together why gm push for evs.
Oh my stars and garters….It makes me wonder if the new world order is speeding up its timetable.
