A creative digital artist has melded the very different worlds of Formula 1 and off-roading to create an outrageous new Hummer H1 6×6 rendering.
This frankly absurd creation was inspired by the Tyrrell P34 – an iconic 1970s Formula 1 car that utilized four small front wheels instead of two large ones to reduce drag improve airflow over the rear wing. This Hummer H1 6×6 features a similar twin front axle setup and also features other F1-inspired components including a deep front wing, side aerodynamic skirts and turbofan alloy wheels shod in ultra-wide slick tires.
Despite its motorsport leanings, the Hummer H1 6×6 still retains some of the vehicle’s off-road-focused components, including a front brush guard, a solid rear axle and front and rear tow hooks. Power in this fictitious creation comes from an absolutely massive supercharged V8, with the blower seen poking through the vehicle’s hood and extending above the roofline. A pair of quad-tip side exit exhaust manifolds can also be seen poking out of the bodywork on either side just behind the front wheels.

While this rendering may be a wildly unrealistic take on a track-ready Hummer H1, the idea has actually been explored in the real world by a Michigan-based tuning company called Mil-Spec. The company developed a track-ready Hummer H1 back in 2019 to promote its business, which featured a stripped-out interior with a roll cage, bucket seats, large alloy wheels wrapped in sticky performance rubber, Wilwood brakes and, most importantly, a 500 horsepower Duramax turbodiesel V8 engine. A popular automotive YouTuber took this oddly equipped Hummer H1 out to a small Michigan race track for a video, which we covered in an article published in October of that year.

Why not?
Thank you Spaceball1, I totally agree! I’ve been commenting on stupid articles like this for months. Also only someone with a handle like Shockandawe would buy a monstrosity like that, I hope he’s seeking professional help?
Dump the blower and drop in a nuclear reactor. Sort of a nouveau Nucleon. Hummer gone green, or at least featuring a low carbon footprint.(<;
I would want to roam the country like that when the SHTF or the experimental mRNA jabs turns everyone into the walking dead. Whichever comes first.
Don’t look up!
