Buy Or Lease A 2022 Chevy Spark In Canada, Get Free Winter Tires

Canadian GM customers can currently get a free set of winter tires with the purchase or lease of a new 2022 Chevy Spark subcompact hatchback.

Customers who purchase or lease a new 2022 Chevy Spark from participating Chevy dealers in February will receive a free set of 15-inch Kumho Wintercraft Ice tires. This deal includes the tires only, so customers will have to shell out some extra cash for a set of rims to mount them on, and does not include installation at the dealership. This offer is good through to the end of February, so Canadaian GM buyers who want to capitalize on the deal should act soon.

The 2022 model year will be the final iteration of the Chevy Spark before it’s put out to pasture. Production of the subcompact hatchback will end on August 31st at GM’s Changwon plant in South Korea, with the final order cycle for the 2022 model scheduled for June 16th. The facility, which was recently upgraded with a new paint shop, will eventually transition to building a new small crossover model.

Power in the 2022 Chevy Spark comes from a naturally aspirated 1.4L I4 LV7 gasoline engine, which is rated at 98 horsepower and 94 pound-feet of torque. Front-wheel drive is standard. Output is routed to the front axle by way of either a five-speed manual transmission or a Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT). The hatch rides on the GM Gamma 2 platform, which is also shared with the Chevy Trax/Tracker and Buick Encore. The current 2022 model year introduced three new exterior colors to the nameplate, Crimson, Blue Glow, and Nitro Yellow, which indirectly replaced the Passion Fruit, Toasted Marshmallow, and Caribbean Blue colors.
