The 2022 Chevy Equinox has been determined to be one of the most comfortable vehicles available to buy for under $30,000 by the automotive editors over at Kelley Blue Book.
The automotive research firm recently published a list o the ’10 Most Comfortable Cars Under $30,000′, which broke down what it feels are the most spacious, quiet and smooth-riding vehicles on the market today. The 2022 Chevy Equinox was sixth on the list, just ahead of the highly touted 2022 Honda Accord and the ultra-spacious 2022 Subaru Outback.
KBB editors praised the seat design in the 2022 Chevy Equinox, along with its spacious cabin and impressive range of available creature comforts.
“A compact crossover with a comfortable interior, the Chevrolet Equinox offers a good range of standard and available features,” KBB says of the hot-selling Chevy. “Seating is plush and supportive with standard cloth surfaces that become leather on higher trims. Adding visual appeal is the RS trim with red contrast stitching. There’s ample room for five adults with good headroom and legroom for rear passengers. Available options include a power driver’s seat, heated seats, and a premium audio system.”
Not surprisingly, the majority of vehicles on this list were crossovers. Crossovers typically have softer suspension with longer travel than passenger cars, which help to swallow up potholes and ruts in the road, giving these vehicles superior comfort in day-to-day driving. They also benefit from having more spacious interiors and can sometimes offer a greater range of standard active safety features, as well. That said, some sedans still eeked their way into the bottom of the list, including the aforementioned 2022 Accord, along with the 2022 Toyota Camry, 2022 Hyundai Sonata and 2022 Nissan Altima.
The top-rated vehicle in this list was the 2022 Honda CR-V, followed by the 2022 Toyota RAV4 and 2022 Subaru Forester.

Kind of a subjective article. What one person thinks is comfortable, may not be comfortable for others. How about putting a real engine in it? Does anyone think that these turbocharged lawn tractor engines that GM keeps putting in their vehicles are going to go 200,000 miles without engine troubles.
Yes, easily. You don’t think they don’t test this stuff in a much harder environment for hundreds of thousands of miles? They build them to last, you just have to keep up with maintenance. I am guessing you are one of those ill-informed old guys that doesn’t understand how engineering today works huh? Let me guess, you also change your oil every 3k miles? Times have changed, you can easily build something stout to take abuse.
1. there is no picture in main page
2. almost understood KGB
3. the car has no chrome frame at rear window, must have to be complete
The. Equinox read window is glued on, and never had a chrome frame.
I have a 2009 Equinox and it has been almost trouble free except for two problems in the first two years (traction sensors and one spark plug) both fixed free under GM warranty The 3.4 V6 engine is the perfect size, but I was expecting a hybrid Equinox after the Volt arrived. Yet GM decided to put in a turbocharged I4 instead of making a hybrid. At least it will be electric for 2024 so it will remain the unknown gem in the GM line.
