2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Carbon Fiber Packages Constrained

The 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing looks great, with sharp lines and aggression mixed in equal proportions with Caddy’s slick, luxury four-door profile. For those customers eager to up the ante, Cadillac offers a few exterior upgrades, but now, GM Authority has learned that the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing’s carbon fiber packages currently have limited availability.

The packages in question are called the Carbon Fiber 1 Package and the Carbon Fiber 2 Package. The Carbon Fiber 1 Package is tagged with RPO code CFZ and priced at $4,350, while the Carbon Fiber 2 Package is tagged with RPO code CFV and priced at $2,650.

Both of the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Carbon Fiber packages may simply be unavailable. Either way, it’s currently unclear when the packages will no longer be under constraint.

Carbon Fiber 1 Package (RPO code CFZ) includes the following content (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):

  • Carbon Fiber front splitter (VS2)
  • Front wheel well deflectors
  • Front dive planes
  • Rear extra aero spoiler

Meanwhile, Carbon Fiber 2 Package (RPO code CFV) includes the following content (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):

  • Rocker moldings (B6A)
  • Carbon Fiber rocker extensions
  • Rear valance diffuser

To note, the Carbon Fiber 2 Package (RPO code CFV) requires the Carbon Fiber 1 Package (RPO code CFZ).

The 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing, alongside the larger and more-powerful CT5-V Blackwing, is one of the most track-capable production vehicles that Cadillac has ever made. Under the hood, the CT4-V Blackwing cradles the twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 LF4 gasoline engine, which is rated at 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. All that go is routed to the rear wheels by way of either the GM six-speed manual transmission, or the GM 10-speed automatic transmission.

Under those body panels, the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing rides on the GM Alpha 2 platform. Production takes place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Lansing, Michigan.
