2022 Buick Envision Interior Protection Package No Longer Available

The 2022 Buick Envision is the second model year of the second-generation nameplate, updating the crossover with just a few small changes over the all-new 2021 model year. Now, GM Authority has learned that the Interior Protection Package for the 2022 Buick Envision is no longer available.

The 2022 Buick Envision’s Interior Protection Package is tagged with RPO code PDH, and included the following content (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):

  • All-weather floor liners (RIA)
  • Cargo liner (CAV)

To note, the All-weather floor liners (RPO code RIA) are also unavailable as a separate option, while the Cargo liner (RPO code CAV) is set to be offered as a separate option in Q1 of 2022.

Pricing for the All-weather floor liners (RPO code RIA) offered for the 2021 Buick Envision was $220, while pricing for the Cargo liner (RPO code CAV) was set at $175.

To note, the All-weather floor liners (RPO code VAV) are no longer available to order, as well.

The 2022 Buick Envision includes a few small changes as compared to the preceding 2021 model year, such as the addition of the new Sapphire Metallic exterior color and the addition of a new wheel set (18-inch aluminum, PZK). Inside, the 2022 Buick Envision also offers new sport alloy pedals and carpeted floor mats with the ST logo. The Interior Protection Package was another new addition for the 2022 model year, but, as stated above, it is no longer available.

The 2022 Buick Envision is equipped with the turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder LSY gasoline engine, which is rated at 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The four-cylinder connects to GM’s nine-speed automatic transmission, with output reaching the ground through either the front wheels as standard, or all four wheels as an available option. Under the skin is the GM E2 platform. Production takes place at the GM Jinqiao plant in Shanghai, China.

      2. I got the floor package and roof racks and took them off the first day. Why buy a car with rugs and cover them up. Dealership would not take them off and credit me.
        All are for sale.

  2. Then again there is Weather Tech. It seems that from reading GM Authority the interior protection package is being discontinued in several models. I guess it has to do with supply chain issues

  3. My wife’s 2019 Envision came with these mats and they were inferior quality. We ripped them out and ordered weather tech. Minor issue, we have 32,000 plus miles and car is perfect. Love it, if anything happened to it we would be back at our dealer the next day to get a new one.

  5. Just curious, the Chinese models of Envision (named EnvisionS in China) are made in Yantai(Dong Yue plant), make export models which is almost identical to Chinese version in a different plant (Jinqiao) does not make sense…
