Walter The Cat Returns In New Chevy Silverado Winter Ad: Video

A Chevy Silverado advertisement featuring an outdoorsy feline named Walter went viral online last summer, generating a significant amount of attention for the Bowtie brand and its popular full-size pickup. Now Walter the cat is back for yet another Chevy Silverado ad – with this 60-second spot showing our whiskered friend exploring the outdoors during the winter months.
As we learned when we first met Walter last year, the intrepid cat does all the same things you might expect a large dog to do. Walter’s owner takes him on hikes, brings him for rides in the truck to the store, goes camping with him and even takes him on his snowmobile – all activities that are enabled by the owner’s black Chevy Silverado 1500 Trail Boss.
This ad also shows Walter chasing a mailman down the driveway when he tries to deliver a package to his owner, in what is potentially the most dog-like behaviour a cat could exhibit. Walter may be a sub-20 pound cat, but he defends his owner from perceived invaders just like a 120-pound Rottweiler might.
“Walter, the cat who acts like a dog, is back,” Chevy says of the cat in the video description for the new ad. “He and his owner head out in a Chevy Silverado Trail Boss for some epic snow day adventures. With a two-inch lift and Goodyear Duratrac tires, this truck is ready for off-roading right from the factory. And so is Walter.”
Just like the previous Walter-themed Chevy ad, this ad shows onlookers becoming amazed at the feline and his adventurousness. Toward the end of the ad, Walter and his owner descend on a skier that has become stuck in the snow. The skier, amazed that Walter is working to dig him out of the deep snow, remarks “that’s incredible,” before the owner replies “oh yeah, the Chevy Silverado Trail Boss,” to which the skier comedically replies “no, I meant the cat.”

We need a Walter the cat package
LOVE the ads with Walter the cat and the fellow that plays his owner. However, how about a woman in the ad. Like the wife leaving the house and saying ‘I’m taking Walter with me today”? LOTS of women buying trucks!!!

I think in your next commercial Walter does something heroic again but this time the comment is “ that’s amazing “ but response this time is aimed at the cat and the recipient responds “ no I meant the truck” lol a complete reversal 😂😂😂
