Here’s When GM Will Release 2023 Corvette Z06 Pricing

General Motors unveiled the all-new 2023 Corvette Z06 last October, pulling the sheets on a track-ready performance machine that elevates the mid-engine C8 Corvette to a whole new level. Now, GM Authority has learned exclusive information regarding when General Motors will release 2023 Corvette Z06 pricing information.

According to GM Authority sources, pricing for the 2023 Corvette Z06 will be released in March of the 2022 calendar year. That said, that date may change given the highly volatile market conditions.

For now, the 2023 Corvette Z06 price remains one of the biggest mysteries surrounding the new go-faster Vette. We asked readers what they think the new 2023 Corvette Z06 price will be, with some saying it will start around $100K, and others saying it will remain closer to the price of the C7-generation Corvette Z06 at $85,000 to $90,000.

For the sake of context, we should mention that the starting price of the 2019 Corvette C7 Z06 was $81,995 for the 1LZ Coupe model.

As for the 2023 Corvette Z06, specs and performance information are well-known at this point. Based on the same Y2 platform as the C8 Corvette Stingray, the 2023 Corvette Z06 replaces the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 of the Stingray with the new naturally aspirated 5.5L V8 LT6, which is rated at 670 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, with redline set at a howling 8,600 rpm.

Sending all that muscle to the rear axle is an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, which combines with a shortened 5.56 final drive ratio for crisp acceleration. The run to 60 mph takes an estimated 2.6 seconds.

Further upgrades include a wider stance thanks to 275/30ZR20 tires in front and 345/25ZR21 tires in the rear, while standard Magnetic Ride Control suspension keeps it shiny side up. The standard brakes include 14.6-inch-diameter front and 15-inch-diameter rear Brembo rotors, paired with six-piston and four-piston Brembo calipers.

      1. Any reputable dealership will not have a mark up like that.
Do your due diligence while researching and find ones that are not,
GM also just sent all dealerships a letter saying take off addendums per their sales agreement.

Some dealerships will still try to upcharge and it will be interesting to see GM’s response.
Also the secondhand market for these will be insane..
However, I am fully prepared to turn down + $50,000 offers for my Z06.
#2 on the list baby, let’s get it!!

        1. The aftermarket already is crazy. My 2021 Z51 3LT was right around $100 out the door – tax, destination, license, extended warranty, etc. all included. Low mileage. I was just offered $135K for it by a dealer in FL (cash not trade). I’m not interested in giving it up – but one has to wonder why in the world a dealer would pay that much and what he’d try to sell it for.

          1. I also have a 2021 Z51 3LT and it was 93K out the door. Would I sell it for 135?–nope. Love the car more than $$.

            1. Wow, yes that is absolutley crazy!

Those 3LT Z51s would definitley fetch the most $ for sure, but honestly I’m glad ya’ll are keeping them!

        2. If you can sell it on a secondary market and make $20k buying it at MSRP why wouldn’t the dealer mark it up? Why does that make them “NOT REPUTABLE”? You would take the money. Pretty hypocritical.

          1. The reason is because the dealer has a monopoly on the supply. They force the OEM to sell directly to them – it is not an open and fair market. Therefore, marking it up is literally price gouging without competition.

  2. Have to wait to see if they go on strike and see what the concessions are. The Bowling Greens factory overhead may go up considerably with salary and benefits changes and costing much more to build the car.

    1. Base will be $89,995, so if you dont go crazy with options a nicely equipped 2lt car will go for under 98k. Of course the taxes bump that up a bit. To those who are lucky enough to get a first year z06, enjoy!

  3. I wonder how many the Ron Fellows driving school will get right away. My only chance , due to the long wait, will be to pay for a couple days at the school to get to drive one.

    1. Heck, I’d like to know if they intend to limit availability or whether Z06 will be available on any (or all) of the 2023 C8 production.

  4. In the 70’s anyone with 5.56 gears had a tough time on the highway. Of course we only had 4 gears. My 2021 C8 with Z51 says it has 5.13 ratio, which is still high. But at highway speed it stays around 1500 rpm.
I hope I live long enough to be able to buy a C8 Z06.

  5. Hey, maybe we could form a small partnership and pitch in to buy one Z06 C8 and share it like a vacation home or RV. I only want to drive it every few weeks on weekdays, you can have the weekends.

  6. My guess, LT1 base starts @ 85,9k up to 115,9k for full blown LT3 Z51 full feature package with IMSA C8 paint scheme…

The top is expensive but sticking with my guess based on the number of RPOs gm will offer. Let’s not forget those dirty dealerships that add their price mark ups as with any new product that comes out with a lot of marketing.

I wish I could afford a dark grey with black out IMSA paint package.

    1. To previous comment lt trims are for stingrays; lz’s are for z06

Also there’s no such thing as z51 for z06, that’s only for stingray but your ranges are still somewhat good as I think it’s like a 7k add to go to 2lz and another 8k approximately for 3lz purely based on speculation from c7 z06 increases for trim levels.

  7. Hopefully the significant stagflation risks on the horizon and current stock market pullback convince GM to keep pricing attractive.

  8. Whatever price GM decides on the people will pay it look at the price that dealers and people are still getting for the C8 and the car has been in the market for 3 years and you still see them going for 100 k’s
My guess people will pay 120,000 and still get a bargain compared to the Porches Lambos Audis Acura ect and it will out perform most of them
May be some day I will be able to trade my C8 for a ZO6 with that kind of demand it may be a long wait

    1. No you aren’t. Dealers can’t take deposits yet and no orders have been made yet because pricing hasn’t even been released. Someone isn’t being honest with you.

      1. Because you can take it to CarMax and sell it for $20k over MSRP. No dealer is gonna let you do that. It’s called market based pricing. Get used to it.

  14. GM is dreaming again. To replace the 6.2 to 5.5 is only a saving to Chevy when it comes to engine cost. There is only one way that car will go 0-60 under 3 sec. You will have to drop it out of a carrier plane. The Corvette lost its way after the C6 run. GM is just copying the Ferrari with styling. Kiss the Corvette good but in a few years.

    2. It’s a 5.5L DOHC flat crank engine verses a 6.2 push rod. Do homework before commenting. It didn’t save GM money, it cost a fortune.

  17. Even though I am Canadian , I believe that the car will rough start at about $94k for the base model and jumps significantly when you order the Z07 package to around $112k

  18. 65k for base model can’t find one under 100k they will say 95k for the zo6 u will not be able to drive it off the lot under 150k for the fully loaded one … think about it 5k for each carbon rim 😎

  19. $99,999

  20. I applaud GM for any an all attempts to curb their dealers from gouging (oops, I meant charging over MSRP) their clients. Maybe those dealers will get a new Kelly Green with Pink interior Editions…

Porsche might take notice, and not let their dealers claw out of their Covid woes by charging 50-100K over for their GT4RS’s. Poor management on so many levels.

  23. I’ve already put down $5,000 on a Z06 with Z07 package. This is a once in a life time chance for me to own a Corvette. I’m 75 years old. I don’t really care what the price is going to be since I can afford it. I’ll leave it in my will to someone. I’m definitely going to be driving the car for sure. The car is made to be driven.

  25. $200,000 + here in Canada. GM, like our government, are crooks. Produce an exotic car for North Americans to enjoy at a fraction of the cost as Ferrari…pfffttt. Canada is one of the worst countries to live in currently.
