General Motors is once again facing availability issues for its optional LPO-level 22-inch wheels, with six optional 22-inch wheels currently unavailable to order.
The six LPO-level General Motors wheels currently unavailable to order include the 22-inch Bright Chrome wheels (RPO code SF1), 22-inch High Gloss Black wheels (RPO code SGM), 22-inch Multi-spoke Chrome wheels (RPO code SSI), 22-inch Multi-split spoke Chrome wheels (RPO code SSW), 22-inch 12-Spoke Chrome alloy wheels (RPO code SET), and 22-inch 12-Spoke Gloss Black alloy wheels (RPO code SSX).
To note, LPO-level items are installed by the dealer when the vehicle is delivered, rather than at the factory when the vehicle is initially produced.
The 22-inch Bright Chrome wheels (RPO code SF1) were optional on the following models – Chevy Silverado 1500 Limited, refreshed Chevy Silverado 1500, Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Suburban, GMC Sierra 1500 Limited, refreshed GMC Sierra 1500, and GMC Yukon.
The 22-inch High Gloss Black wheels (RPO code SGM) were optional on the following models – Chevy Silverado 1500 Limited, refreshed Chevy Silverado 1500, Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Suburban, GMC Sierra 1500 Limited, refreshed GMC Sierra 1500, and GMC Yukon.
The 22-inch Multi-spoke Chrome wheels (RPO code SSI) were optional on the following models – refreshed Chevy Silverado 1500, Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Suburban, refreshed GMC Sierra 1500, and GMC Yukon.
The 22-inch Multi-split spoke Chrome wheels (RPO code SSW) were optional on the following models –Â refreshed Chevy Silverado 1500, Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Suburban, refreshed GMC Sierra 1500, and GMC Yukon.
The 22-inch 12-Spoke Chrome alloy wheels (RPO code SET) were included and only available with the Radiant Package (RPO code PDV) on Cadillac Escalade Premium Luxury and Premium Luxury Platinum trim levels.
The 22-inch 12-Spoke Gloss Black alloy wheels (RPO code SSX) were included and only available with the Onyx Package (RPO code PDB) on Cadillac Escalade Sport and Sport Platinum trim levels.
As GM Authority covered last year, General Motors previously had availability issues for its 22-inch wheels, including the same optional upgrades for the Cadillac Escalade, Chevy Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, Chevy Suburban, Chevy Tahoe, and GMC Yukon.

Since this is about the third or fourth tine this has happened why is there not an explanation of the source problem somewhere in the article? And for the good folks at GMA, sitting on a dock in LA is not a good answer.
when might there be a solution and why the same reaccuring issue?
What about the 22″ wheels that are standard equipment on the GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate.
Blah blah blah every day taking something away! Amazing! GM you are losing so many costumers! I guess that’s why it’s important to launch outside of American sales!
That is just way too many wheels to be unavailable. Seems that GM underestimate the demand of the optional wheels.
I canceled my order for the refreshed 2022 gmc sierra due to the lack of color options, and not being able to get the optional bright chrome split spoke wheels. The available color options are awful, and was also told all season weather mats weren’t available. What a joke! I’ll buy something else at this point.
