Fan favorite Corvette Racing driver Jordan Taylor has launched his own personal YouTube channel, where he plans to share vlogs on his day-to-day life, as well behind-the-scenes footage from various motorsports events.
Taylor recently posted a 90-second clip to his newly launched YouTube channel in which he laid out his plans for the YouTube channel and asked his fans to let him know what they’d like to see posted to the page going forward.
“Hey everybody, Happy New Year. I’m starting a YouTube channel, we’re going to be trying to do some behind the scenes on race weekends, some training stuff, some triathlon stuff,” Taylor says in the video. “So let us know what you want to see. If the YouTube channel does well, we’ll probably keep making videos.”

The launch of Taylor’s YouTube channel will no doubt be welcome news to the 30-year old’s fans. Taylor has cultivated a rather large fan base of racing enthusiasts over the years thanks to his comedic social media presence, which often sees him dress up in retro Jeff Gordon NASCAR gear as he takes on the personality of his racing-obsessed alter ego, Rodney Sandstorm. He also often shares photos of his dog, Fonzie, to his Instagram page complete with funny captions, along with racing-themed videos poking fun at himself and fellow competitors.

Jordan Taylor has been a full-time Corvette Racing driver since 2020, although he’s been involved with General Motors for much longer than that. He gained his footing in car racing behind the wheel of a GT class Chevy Camaro, served as one of Corvette Racing’s third drivers at Le Mans from 2012 to 2017 and raced both the Corvette DP and Cadillac DPi-V.R for his father’s team, Wayne Taylor Racing, for five seasons from 2014 to 2019. Taylor has also won the 24 Hours of Le Mans once and the Rolex 24 at Daytona on three separate occasions.
For 2022, Taylor will once again be behind the wheel of the No. 3 Corvette C8.R in the IMSA WeatherTech Championship. He’ll compete in the newly established GTD Pro category, sharing the No.3 car with fellow full-season driver Antonio Garcia.
