So where are all the Camaro’s ? Basically all the new car dealerships are now used car dealerships ! I already have a new car, a Toyota purchased back in May, so I can wait this out. Maybe by the end of 22, when I’m itching for a new car and GM pulled their head out of their asses, I might buy Chevy and maybe not. I had a Hemi Charger as a rental back in Sept., I was truly impressed !!!
Jandro get a Mopar while you can because after this generation of V8 power it’s all over… No more hellcats, demons, scat pack, SRT. In fact Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Dodge Durango already gave up their SRT trims… I can only imagine that the charger and Challenger are next. As for not finding a Camaro at zero interest good luck thank the dirty dealerships for that because they have to mark everything up.
No more Hellcats, yes. The other info is inaccurate..
Didn’t they close the srt division?
That doesn’t mean no more SRTs as an option.
I personally think it was dumb the new ceo closed it. But I hope you are right. I have a friend who has a srt challenger it’s really nice.
I love me some Camaro but I have to go with mopar and a scat pack. You get more interior space, more passenger space and more hp/tq.
All you guys complaining about no Camaro’s you do realize they made very few last year and are now just catching up. Dealers are going to charge sticker because they can. It might get better as the year goes if the computer parts keep coming in. This is not a high profit car for GM, Its their trucks and they were smart to build them more than cars than Cuv’s.
I sure people going to say but Toyota is number one in the US….so what, they don’t sell near the trucks GM or Ford sell. They have to sell a crap load of cars to make the profit GM and Ford make on trucks.
But they are #1 and if they sell a crap load of cars to make the profit isn’t that a good thing? That means more customers are in Toyotas.
But they did!
I am still waiting for a 2022 Camaro 3LT/RS Convertible … that I order on June 1, 2021 … from a dealer in Las Vegas, Nevada.
GM continues to send me weekly notices that my vehicle is scheduled for production the week of December 6, 2021 … and today is January 5, 2022?
I hope your not holding your breath!
Not sure what dealership you purchased from in the Vegas valley but they all were playing the $4,000-$5,000 over MSRP when I was searching. Ended up ordering my custom 2022 from Autonation in the Phoenix area and am paying MSRP. Shipped from Michigan already and should be arriving at the dealership this week. Ordered in end August.
Gm sends you notices? Surprises me.
You can contact GM to get updates on vehicles when you order one. Not sure if there are other methods but I went through text messages.
Unfortunately Camaro is dead, again. At the moment, another return as some type of EV seems very unlikely largely due to the lack of market in China. Ford has done better than expected so far with the Mustang Mach E in Europe, selling more than 20,000 in 2021. Problem is, gm has very little business of any kind in Europe. They “talk” about selling new EV’s there, but so far it’s just talk. I guess one bit of good news is the fact the Bolt was only available in very limited numbers (as the Opel Ampera-E) “over there”, maybe no one had their house burn down when the battery pack caught fire?
