Ashton Kutcher And Mila Kunis Drive A 2022 GMC Hummer EV Pickup

Celebrity couple Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis was recently spotted driving through Los Angeles in their new 2022 GMC Hummer EV Edition 1 pickup. Kutcher was seen in the driver’s seat, while Kunis sat in the front passenger seat.

The 2022 GMC Hummer EV Edition 1 is the range-topping trim level of the lineup. Every example of the 2022 GMC Hummer EV Edition 1 pickup is finished in Interstellar White paint, with a variety of black trim bits offsetting the stark white body panels. The front end of the vehicle incorporates wide horizontal lighting bits, which include the Hummer logo in large script, plus H-shaped lighting signatures. A trio of roof-mounted lights is found just above the windshield. Below the grille is a silver skid plate, while a GMC badge is located in the lower, driver’s side corner. Tow hooks are found in the front bumper, finished in black.

The corners of the 2022 GMC Hummer EV Edition 1 pickup mount a set of 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler off-roading tires, which wrap two-tone 18-inch aluminum wheels. A set of running boards helps with ingress and egress, while lower black cladding and a black roof complement the black trim bits.

The rear end of the vehicle sports black surrounds for the taillights, a black bumper, and additional black tow hooks.

Providing motivation in the 2022 GMC Hummer EV Edition 1 pickup is a three-motor powertrain providing upwards of 1,000 horsepower, plus and estimated range-per-charge of 329 miles. With the standard Watts to Freedom mode activated, the rig will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in a mere three seconds. There’s also 800-volt DC Fast Charge capability good for up to 100 miles of range in 10 minutes.

Under the skin is GM’s BT1 platform. Production of the GM Factory Zero facility in Michigan, previously known as GM Detroit-Hamtramck. The GMC Hummer EV is the first vehicle produced at the recently reopened facility.

    1. I’m sure he’s happy that he has one, I’m just thinking that he’s tired of the Poparatzie chasing him around for the day.

      1. That was my thoughts as well. I honestly couldn’t care less about what celebrities due or say, but I imagine it would get pretty annoying always being stalked by someone with a camera.

  3. smart move by gm to get them one early. Will drive demand. Part of the slade’s success is all the famous people who drive them. I even think the recent arnold crash will help yukon sales. I mean who knew arnold drove a yukon?

    1. Lol is this a joke? You think Kutcher and Kunis driving this will help drive sales?

      1. Of course it will. All the hollywood types are all about image and having cooler tools tjan their neighbors.

        1. Oh you meant drive sales for the other Hollywood elite not the average person who is going to see this pix of a guy who hasn’t been relevant since what 2005? The best thing he is known for is punk,d.

          1. The “average” person will not be able to afford this vehicle. I’m not a fan of either of them but I think you underestimate how shallow some people are and would buy this to compete with their rich circle of friends. GM isn’t going to build a ton of these, maybe a few thousand a year. My guess is that most of these sold will be in the southern california region where there is plenty of money, charging stations, no worries about cold draining batteries, etc….

      2. Agreed, First; Ashton is a terrible actor Mila is cute, I wouldn’t buy one based on them.

Anymore even a few idiot influencers on YouTube can move the needle with the youth segment.

The indoctrinated youth will be those that drive the transition.

      4. Do you think that people as high profile as Kutcher and Kunis just randomly managed to get their order in first? There’s no way they just won the new vehicle release feeding frenzy without some special deal from GM.

  4. After seeing this, I am now going to buy one or maybe even two. One for me and one for my wife? Great job GM.

        1. Michigan Driver – probably test mules or GM executives driving them. The GMC website only has the option to reserve them, can’t even build it on the site yet.

          1. Given edition 1’s are fully loaded all other options are dealer-installed. Given the number, they’re going to produce of Edition 1’s it’s easier for the dealer to just reach out to you.

      4. The best and the most are not the same.

        Mostly not even related.

But … the “most” can be objectively measured, simply be counting.

But with “the best” one must always good FOR WHOM or WHAT. And that will be very different for different people and purposes.

    1. Given the number of Cadillac Escalades I see around my neighborhood, I’m sure it will not be long before you see these running around as well. I think people forget the Escalade starts at $77k and easily goes over $100k in platinum trim. Even the Escalades in Premium trim is the same price as a Hummer 2X ($90k).

    3. Well yeah. Its genius. Let the rich people with money to burn pay for the new technology in the form of a high profile brand like Hummer… then it makes it easier to roll out cheaper models for normal people.. simple.

  10. Now would GM be so low to allow PR people to get first dives on a EV Hummer rather than the average Joe? Yep just for any free publicity. How shamefully. One would want you to believe AK sat at his pc trying to get first in line for a HUMMER. I doubt it!

  11. I’ll probably get a whole mess of thumbs downs for this, but here goes.
It’s definitely a good looking vehicle, but its 5″ wider than the Sierras, which are already wide enough. Take it to the store and you’ll have to park out in the boondocks to be able to get in and out of it.
    No thanks.

      1. Yeah we ordered it in August 2021 and in October 2021 we got a call saying they stopped production of the diesel because the diesel takes more chips 🤷🏿‍♀️ And we haven’t heard anything since then.

  16. Aside from delivering GMC Hummer EV internet reservations which was only 39 vehicles last month, GM has sold basically zero EVs since the battery recall and national stop sale mid 2021. It is great that GM has conservative white males interested in EVs now with the publicity of releasing the first EV truck, but by the time this platform is availabe for the masses it will be out dated. I also hope GM has a better plan of meeting supply and demand than this because by the time 2025 gets here Teslas will be flying.

  18. If anyone from EV Concierge or GM Authority is reading this please do not forget your base EV consumers that have been with you since the Spark and Bolt EV. Despite the setbacks and fearmongering most of the 100,000+ owners still own their GM EV. I think that speaks for loyalty more than any vehicle hipster or hypebeast. The question is will our vehicle have a future on this new platform?
