The 2013 Buick Encore is among the best-used vehicles available for under $15,000, according to a recent study conducted by market research firm iSeeCars.
iSeeCars recently published its list of the ‘Best Used Cars to Buy in 2022’, which ranks the best second-hand vehicles by segment and price point. The 2013 Buick Encore was listed among the ten best used cars and SUVs to purchase for under $15,000, with the crossover selling for an average of $13,401 on the second-hand market. The research firm says the 2013 Buick Encore “is praised for its predicted reliability ratings as well as ample passenger and cargo space despite its subcompact designation.”
Additionally, the 2013 Buick Encore was ranked as the runner-up in iSeeCars’ Best Used Luxury Subcompact SUV category. Taking top honors in the category was the BMW X1, with iSeeCars praising the vehicle’s “impressive safety scores, above-average cargo capacity and fuel economy for the class.” The publication also said the vehicle’s sharp driving dynamics help make it “a worthy choice for drivers looking to enter the luxury SUV segment.”
Other vehicles ranked among the best used cars and SUVs under $15,000 include the 2013 Honda Accord, 2016 Kia Soul, 2013 Volvo XC90, 2013 Subaru Outback, 2013 Toyota Camry, 2013 Honda Civic and 2013 Toyota Prius.
The 2022 Buick Encore represents the tenth model year of the first-generation Encore, which entered the market for the 2013 model year. The subcompact crossover received a handful of minor changes for the 2022 model year. For starters, the base 1SV trim level has been dropped, with Preferred now the one and only trim level. The turbocharged 1.4-liter I-4 LUV engine has also been dropped in favor of the newer 1.4L LE2 engine, resulting in an increase of 17 horsepower and 29 pound-feet of torque for a total output of 155 horsepower and 177 pound-feet.
The Buick Encore is assembled by GM Korea at the GM Bupyeong factory in South Korea.

Or Evan they can go all 1990’s and and put a 3.4 liter Valve eater V6 in the Encore like I had in my Pontiac Grand Am loved the car but that engine was down on power and was noisy. My friends wife has a 2017 turbo 4 cylinder equinox it has been great!
How does your friend’s wife have a 2017 turbo 4 cylinder in an Equinox since they didn’t put a turbo in the Equinox in 2017?
The standard engine in the 2018 Chevy Equinox is a 1.5-liter turbocharged four cylinder. Paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, it produces 170 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque. Sorry little buzzard I ment 2018 sorry about the typo.
LOL, great if you want a clown car, pos.
What’s the definition of a clown car? I have a 2017 Encore and so far it has been a good little vehicle. Haven’t had any problems.
i had a 2018 equinox and i loved it .
