The GM Authority Take

The Chevy Trailblazer’s healthy performance during Q3 2021 serves as proof that the Bow Tie has a winner on its hands. This is in spite of Trailblazer supply being very low in August.

We attribute the Trailblazer’s extremely strong showing to a combination of very healthy interest in demand along with sufficient supply at the dealer/retail level. The supply bit is particularly important in light of ongoing disruptions within GM’s supply chain, which have caused inventory and sales of several key models to plummet. Luckily, the GM Bupyeong plant in South Korea – which makes the Trailblazer – has been shielded from the disruptions.

So long as there are no disruptions to production, we expect Chevy Trailblazer sales to continue improving in the near-term future.

      1. The dealers sell every Trailblazer they receive. GM could easily double this volume.

  3. It is a great vehicle offered for this segment, price & quality, but we can’t get enough to fulfill our own orders. We delivered 3 last week after they came in and have no available inventory coming in at this time! so I am sure as with every other GM Dealership the sales for this model will drop for the 4th Quarter for everyone.

  4. Sales are much better than I expected in this segment and for being a new model has done great. The powerplant is not a showstopper as sales proves it. Also, a year after being introduced, no one has any issues.

  5. The Trailblazer seems popular here in the DMV. I’ve noticed a lot of them running around here. Anecdotal view for sure, but good to see.

  6. Given another, more impressive engine option, I would absolutely give Chevy my money. I’ve seen more of these than the Bronco here in Bronco country

  7. Personally speaking this is the best looking crossover that GM makes.
