The GM Authority Take

Chevrolet Argentina sales continued their negative trajectory with a drastic drop in November that represents the seventh consecutive month in which the Bow Tie brand has seen its sales decrease in the South American country. Chevrolet continues to suffer from the ongoing global semiconductor shortage and slowing demand for new vehicles in the Argentine market, which suffered a 21 percent decline in November.

For the second consecutive month, absolutely all models offered by Chevrolet in Argentina were in the red, recording drops of two and three digits. The locally-made Chevy Cruze saw the smallest decline of all Chevrolet models, remaining the brand’s best-selling vehicle in the country during the month, while also managing to stay in the green year-to-date.

Besides the Cruze, the only other Chevy model to stay in the green year-to-date is the new Chevy Tracker.
