  1. GM doesn’t need any incentives to sell Escalades. Around here (South Jersey) dealers are putting a 10 to 20 percent mark up on new Escalades. We were at our dealer recently to see about ordering my wife a new XT5, and our salesman was telling us that unlike most dealers, they were “only” marking up their Escalades $5000.

  2. In october I was chatting with my dealer and he said they were selling orders at MSRP. I was a bit surprised as he said he had orders that would keep them sold out for a year. He did say if anyone decides for whatever reason not to accept their slade, they do mark it up. When I was there, they had no escalades. I think in total they had 5 new units on the lot for sale. Normally they would have a couple hundred units in stock.
