Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Looks Slick With Custom Stripes

While General Motors does not offer stripes on the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing from the factory, some owners of the ultra-performance sedan have taken matters into their own hands and installed custom aftermarket stripes with impressive results.

We found a photo of this custom, stripe-shod 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing floating around the internet and couldn’t help but stare at the black-on-black four-door. This vehicle is fitted with a set of aftermarket matte black and red hood stripes, along with aftermarket window tint. These minor cosmetic modifications mesh well with the factory Black Raven exterior color and Satin Graphite painted 19-inch alloy wheels to give the ultra-performance sedan a mean and sinister exterior appearance.

This car also appears to be fitted with the available Carbon Fiber 1 and Carbon Fiber two packages for the CT5-V Blackwing, which bring various aerodynamic adornments to give the vehicle more downforce at speed. Here’s a quick look at the components included in each of these packages:

Carbon Fiber 1 Package

  • Front splitter
  • Front wheel well deflectors
  • Rear extra aero spoiler

Carbon Fiber 2 Package

  • Grille header
  • Rocker moldings
  • Rocker extensions
  • Rear valance diffuser
  • Requires Carbon Fiber 1 Package

As we know, the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is powered by a supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine, rated at 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque. Output is routed to the rear wheels through either the standard six-speed manual transmission or an optional GM 10-speed automatic. Thanks to this setup, the CT5-V Blacking can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds and will top out at 200 mph.

The ultra-performance version of the CT5 began rolling off the assembly line at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan in July of last year, with customer deliveries commencing shortly after. Prices for the vehicle start at $84,990 in the U.S. including destination and freight charges.

  3. ANYthing makes a all-black car look better. I would just find 3 pt containers of house paint and throw it at the car to improve all-black looks.
