Earlier this year, we showcased a new center-exit aftermarket exhaust kit for the C8 Corvette Stingray that was developed by a relatively new aftermarket supplier called Aerolarri. Now, it has shared a video of a C8 Corvette Stingray riding on its new ‘Thresher’ aluminum alloy wheels as it continues to expand its product portfolio for the vehicle.
The Chicago-based company says the wheels in the video measure 20 inches by 9.5 inches in the front and 21.5 inches by 12.5 inches in the rear and ride on 255/30R20 front tires and 325/25R21 rear tires. In addition to changing the exterior appearance of the C8 Corvette Stingray, this particular set also puts more rubber underneath the mid-engine sports car – likely giving it slightly improved lateral grip.
These forged wheels are relatively affordable, with a set of four starting at $1,988, as per Aerolarri’s website. The company says that through “unique digital abilities and efficient logistics,” it is able to “deliver the same true forged wheel that’s completely CNC’d from a solid block of aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum at a fraction of the normal cost.” The company says these wheels are optimized for the C8 Corvette and sit “perfectly flush,” with no rub and a “perfect speedometer reading verified by GPS.”
These wheels are also fully compatible with the C8 Corvette Stingray’s front lift system. Aerolarri has a C8 Corvette “easy buy” button on its site, as well, allowing Corvette owners to easily put the right-sized wheels in their online cart.

I think you meant “C8 Corvette Looks like a hot mess Riding On Aerolarri Thresher Wheels”. Black accents all over the place partnered with busy bright wheels…you can hardly find the car. I’m no designer, but isn’t this stuff you would learn not to do in session 101? Or am I just getting too old? An all black car might look very nice with these as an accent.
And when shooting a vehicle you may want to have it all in the shade or all in the sun. Shade line going down the middle of the car, now that’s photography 101…
I do like the rims though.
I agree the wheels do look a bit busy, but I like the concave design concept. I would prefer a wheel design closer to the new ZO6 design

What in the world do the wheels have to do with the front lift system.
From the replies that I read on this article I presume that these wheels are not particularly liked by the Corvette circle. I think they are gorgeous and wish that I could have bought these for $2000 instead of the $4000 that I spent buying factory wheels from Porsche.

Honestly if GM made a drop dead gorgeous wheel for the C8 and it came on the car when delivered I’d pay $4000 for them.
These wheels look a helluva lot better than any of the stock wheels; at least they have some depth to them and some old skool rounded edges. There’s some art to them. And there ain’t nothing wrong with metal colored metal, Holmes. One look at the ugly, flat faced, razor-edged to the point of jagged gaudy wheels on the majority of modern cars is all the proof needed to declare modern carbuyers on the whole have seriously lousy taste.
