Earlier this month, GM Authority spotted a nearly new Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing up for sale in Florida for an eye-widening $148,999. Now, that very same vehicle is up for sale with a $9,000 price drop, listed at $139,999.
Although some may find the price tag to be rather steep, this particular Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is quite nice. Offered by Wilde Lexus Sarasota in Sarasota, Florida, this four-door monster is finished in a searing shade of Blaze Orange Metallic paint, which matches well with the black accents and carbon fiber trim bits found front to back, including components of the Carbon Fiber Package 1 upgrade, which adds in a new splitter, well well deflectors, and a larger rear spoiler for the trunk. In the corners, we spot 19-inch alloy wheels, which continue the theme with a Satin Graphite Dark finish, plus high-performance summer-only tires with a multi-compound thread composition designed specifically for the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing.
While aggressive on the outside, the interior of this Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing promises all the luxury and comfort one would expect. Highlights include Jet Black upholstery with Jet Black accents, as well as a premium sound system, satellite radio, navigation, heated and cooled driver’s seat, keyless entry, and a sunroof.
Of course, the big enchilada is found under the hood, where, like all examples of the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, this particular models is equipped with the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine. Also found in the third-generation Cadillac CTS, C7-generation Chevy Corvette Z06, and Chevy Camaro ZL1, the LT4 is rated at 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque when applied to the CT5-V Blackwing. This particular example also features a six-speed manual transmission, rather than the optional 10-speed automatic.
For those who may have forgot, the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is underpinned by the GM Alpha 2 platform, with production taking place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Lansing, Michigan.

Still, way too much, look at the MRSP and even with all the options it has it is definitely not what the owner originally paid.
Makes me wonder how long this dealer will hold out till they drop and list the price at MSRP.
Toooo Much indeed!! Wonder why it’s for sale.
That is way too much far above the MSRP for that price a new Mercedes can be bought and enjoy just as well with all the bells and whistles good luck whoever has this one for sale that is an outrageous price
It’s for sale because the seller is trying to make some money on this car. Similar to everyone C8 corvette that listed at twice the MSRP. It’s frustrating for those of us that want one at a reasonable price.
I would like to have this Black wing….Does anyone need a kidney???

I think it’s hilarious that some folks in this comment section think that the person who purchased a vehicle paid MSRP 😂. And for the random dude saying I can get a Mercedes for that price….. You sure can but be ready to pay that market adjustment on top of it 😂. You literally cannot go to a dealer and test drive a Cadillac CT5 blackwing because they’re already sold. The only way you can test drive is if you purchase and pay over sticker nowadays.
I’ll just wait
So sad this was going to be my last vehicle before I leave this earth I will just buy a used CTS-V and be happy that’s a lie I want the black wing
Can you say price gouging! Please don’t break and buy at this price! The MSRP priced vehicles are just as good!!
Its ugly but its fast so at least you won’t have to look at it too long…..
