2022 Yenko/SC Chevy Camaro To Produce 1,100 Horsepower: Video

The 2022 Yenko/SC Chevy Camaro will produce 1,100 horsepower, Speciality Vehicle Engineering has revealed.

Speciality Vehicle Engineering (SVE), which is based out of New Jersey, has made a name for itself by reviving the iconic Yenko name for a series of specially tuned, limited-edition GM vehicles. The company is upping the ante in the New Year, laying out plans this week to release a new 2022 Yenko/SC Chevy Camaro Stage II producing an eye-popping 1,100 horsepower.

Details on the 2022 Yenko/SC Chevy Camaro Stage II are slim at the moment. We expect it to feature an upgraded version of the 6.2L LT1-based engine that powered the 2021 Yenko/SC Camaro Stage II, though, which featured a 416 cubic inch (or 6.8L) blueprinted LT1 block and a massive supercharger, among other upgrades, resulting in an impressive output of 1,050 horsepower.

The company also recently shared a short clip of the first customer 2022 Yenko/SC Chevy Camaro on the dyno at its shop prior to delivery to Don Schumacher Chevrolet in Danville, New Jersey. That vehicle featured a gloss black exterior with red Yenko/SC graphics, Yenko-branded Chevy bowtie emblems and a ‘Stage II’ rear lip spoiler badge. It also shared a photo of a separate example on its Twitter page, which looks to be based on an Arctic White 2022 Chevy Camaro LT1 and features blue graphics and multi-spoke aftermarket wheels.

Specialty Vehicle Engineering built just 50 examples of the 2021 Stage II Yenko/SC Chevy Camaro, and we expect a similar limited production run for this new 2022 model. Customers can place an order for an SVE/Yenko vehicle through their local Chevrolet dealer, with the company also offering upgraded versions of the Chevy Silverado 1500. Prices for the 2022 Yenko/SC Chevy Camaro Stage II are not yet available.

No matter how much horsepower they put in it . You still Sitting on the floor with all the blind spots Chevrolet can’t sell the Camaro at $40K so even fewer will be sold at 6 figures

So, I guess you need a booster seat!! It’s too bad, most people just use the mirrors and can see over the hood. Beside with that kind of car you hang on and look forward.

You will never believe how quickly you get over these supposed visibility issues when I got my 19 ZL I drove it to my dad’s 25 miles from the dealership it was purchased and the trip there I was nervous not really sure how I liked it but by the trip home I was already used to it anyone who can’t get past that slight inconvenience is a hoarse $hit driver an should drive them pos mo pars

Looks like everyone but GM knows how to build what people want. Give these guys Barra’s undeserved awards.

The people that critisize the camaro …have never driven a real machine…They are either Ford lovers or they love to baitch…Camaro is the best car out there for style, performance. price. There are so many options from 6 cylinder to the mighty ZL1… and now the Yenco 1100 horsepower machine. I say to those folks…Hang on to your wigs…because “hair today and gone tommorow…..maintain

Love my 6th Gen Camaro SS! Sophisticated driving dynamics coupled with a beast of an engine. It takes about 30 minutes of driving to permanently get used to the narrow window openings, and the visibility is even better with the convertible (of course)! One of the best cars I have owned in my 50+ years of driving. Neither Ford or Fiat have a platform anywhere close to the integrity and driving characteristics of the Alpha platform which underpins the Camaro, Cadillac ATS and CTS. You GM haters are laughable in your criticism of a car which is superior to anything offered by the competition. Even BMW enthusiast forums were concerned about the 6th Gen Camaro and its sophistication when it was released in 2016.

Agreed to the positive feedback of owners and drivers that drove the this gen Camaro! Owner of a 4th gen 99 SS with after market mods. I test drove each new gen Camaro and must say they are great cars. Getting ready retire so I have to watch where my dollars go… Damn it!! Much better than Ford and Fiat for sure. These Pony’s are also on the chopping block by 2023 too.

Lots of go fast – loud sounding exhaust commercials for Ford and Fiat “boosted” their sales above the Camaro. Little gm has not followed the marketing of the other 2 and expected the Camaro to sell itself by driving by a Chevy dealer. Failed strategy for little gm. If this was an EV, maybe money set a side for the initial review but very little. Example, the EV Hummer. Initial marketing and then nothing… Giving dementia Joe a crack at it didn’t make it past this forum or a day’s worth of tv time giving everyone a chance to LOL at Dementia Joe close to hitting a wall…

MY thoughts, awesome car and probably a very high price tag to buy a dying breed in Camaro and ICE vehicle. Could be a collectors item soon…

As per usual these cars are out of the reach of common working people, and it seems dealers and such take advantage of this and jack the price accordingly, it’s the one with the deepest pockets wins as per usual. I’m out of this race. When I was 11 my father bought a brand new 69 Camaro RS/SS convertible 350, only thing I would have done differently is got the 396 as apposed to the 350 but that car is long gone! I’ve had my share of sports car but due to an injury I’m reaching in pockets and finding Lint!!! I’m definitely out of the race!!!
