When it comes to full-sized pickups with off-road-ready equipment, General Motors has you covered a number of different ways, including with the 2022 GMC Sierra AT4 and 2022 Chevy Silverado Trail Boss. Although similar in some ways, there’s also quite a bit to differentiate these two vehicles, and now, GM Authority is taking a closer look at the exterior differences between the 2022 GMC Sierra AT4 and 2022 Chevy Silverado Trail Boss.

Looking over the list of exterior differences between the 2022 GMC Sierra AT4 and 2022 Chevy Silverado Trail Boss, we find there isn’t much overlap, with red recovery hooks, LT275/65R18C Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac MT tires, and a 265/70R17SL all-season spare tire identified as the only three exterior features equipped as standard with the 2022 GMC Sierra AT4, 2022 Chevy Silverado Custom Trail Boss, and 2022 Chevy Silverado LT Trail Boss.

All three trim levels also offer LT265/60R20 Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT tires and a 255/80R18SL all-season spare tire as optional extras. 1. I recently discovered that most Silverado 4x’s can’t run snow chains on the steer axle which renders it useless for for back country snow adventures. A total deal breaker.
