2022 Cadillac XT6 Now Available To Order With Super Cruise

The 2022 Cadillac XT6 is now available to order with General Motors’ hands-free Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving system in certain trim levels, GM Authority can confirm.

The Super Cruise package (RPO code UKL) will be available to order with the 2022 Cadillac XT6 in the Premium Luxury and Sport trim levels only, leaving out the base Luxury trim level. Pricing for the Super Cruise package has not yet been announced.

On Premium Luxury trim levels, the Super Cruise package will include the following equipment:

  • Leather-wrapped Super Cruise steering wheel (RPO N30)
  • Real-time damping suspension chassis (RPO F45)
  • Performance suspension (RPO FE5)

When ordered on the Sport trim level, the Super Cruise package will add only the leather-wrapped Super Cruise steering wheel (RPO N30), as the Real-Time damping suspension chassis and the Performance are already fitted as standard.

In both the Premium Luxury and Sport trim levels, the following equipment packages/options must be applied in order to apply to the Super Cruise package:

  • Comfort and Air Quality Package (RPO PS1) ($750)
  • Technology Package (RPO Y4N) ($2,350)
  • Driver Assist Package (RPO Y66) ($1300)
  • Cadillac user experience with navigation (RPO IOT) ($1000)
  • Premium headlamp system (RPO UWN) ($800 on Premium Luxury, $700 on Sport)

In addition, the 2022 Cadillac XT6 will introduce new exterior colors called Latte Metallic and Rosewood Metallic, which indirectly replace Shadow Metallic and Garnet Metallic. It will also introduce more standard active safety features, an available Brembo performance brake package and a new 21-inch wheel option. Finally, the crossover will offer limited availability for the wireless charging pad as part of GM’s efforts to cut back on semiconductor chip usage.

The 2022 Cadillac XT6 is produced at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee for the North American market. Luxury trim level models are fitted with the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, which produces 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The Premium Luxury and Sport variants, meanwhile, are fitted with the 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine, which is rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque.

  1. Sam – which version of SuperCruise is this getting? The latest version that you will find on the Escalade or is this the version available on the Bolt EUV?

Difference equate to the electrical system being used on the platform where the global B electrical architecture can handle the upgraded version of SuperCruise?

    1. I’m thinking that it’s super cruise 2.0 not the 2.5 with auto lane change, etc. XT6 is on Global A no the new VIP so it would have the “less sophisticated” Super Cruise, as funny as that is to say.

I think 2023 the XT6 and XT5 will get a full refresh with the Escalade style interior and exterior elements and be upgraded to VIP.

      1. That was my thought regarding the version of SuperCruise. They would need to tie in the newest version with a major update to justify updating the electrical system.

Per your other comment, will the XT5 get another MCE? Or will that continue as is and be replaced by the Lyriq when sales drop to a low enough number?

  2. My Dealer still cannot order the 2022 XT6 with Super Cruise, WHY?
