2022 Cadillac Escalade Radiant And Onyx Packages Unavailable To Order

The 2022 Cadillac Escalade is currently unavailable to order with either the Radiant Package or the Onyx Package. Previously, both the Radiant Package and the Onyx Package were offered as aesthetic upgrades for the full-size luxury SUV, adding a selection of cosmetic changes and styling updates.

The Onyx Package is tagged with RPO code PDB, and is normally available as an LPO-level option, which means it’s installed at the dealer, rather than at the factory when the vehicle was originally produced. The Onyx Package for the 2022 Cadillac Escalade includes the following content (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):

  • Monochrome Cadillac emblems (SFZ)
  • Gloss Black Escalade nameplate (RIK)
  • 22-inch 12-Spoke Gloss Black finish alloy wheels (SSX)

The Onyx Package is usually optional on Sport and Sport Platinum trim levels, and is priced at $2,510 for Sport trims, and $2,375 for Sport Platinum trims.

Meanwhile, the Radiant Package is tagged with RPO code PDV, and is also normally available as an LPO-level option. The Radiant Package for the 2022 Cadillac Escalade includes the following content (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):

  • 22-inch 12-Spoke Chrome alloy wheels (SET)
  • Bright Sport mesh grille with Galvano surround (SJ9)
  • Monochrome Cadillac emblems (SFZ)

The Radiant Package is an optional extra for Premium Luxury and Premium Luxury Platinum trim levels, priced at $3,910 for Premium Luxury trims, and $3,775 for Premium Luxury Platinum trims.

As a reminder, the 2022 Cadillac Escalade is the second model year of the latest fifth-generation nameplate, and is available with two engine options. These include the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, which produces 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, and the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax, which produces 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.

Both engines mate to a 10-speed automatic transmission, while under the body panels, the 2022 Cadillac Escalade rides on the GM T1 platform. Production takes place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.
