The online configurator tools for the 2022 Cadillac CT4 and 2022 Cadillac CT4-V are now live on the American luxury automaker’s website.
This online tool allows users to select their preferred trim level, exterior and interior colors and preferred options and accessories for the Cadillac CT4, as well as the CT4-V and CT4-V Blackwing performance variants.
GM applied minor changes to the 2022 Cadillac CT4 lineup. One of the bigger changes was the deletion of three available exterior colors, Velocity Red, Evergreen Metallic and Dark Blue Moon Metallic, which have been indirectly replaced by Blaze Orange Metallic, Electric Blue and Dark Emerald Frost. The compact sedan introduces a new Onyx Package as well, which adds gloss black wheels and various black exterior trim pieces, along with a new Radiant Package that gives the car additional bright exterior chrome. Lastly, GM also added standard wireless phone charging and more standard active safety features.
The Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing ultra-performance model was added to the CT4 lineup for the 2022 model year, too, which features a twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 LF4 gasoline engine producing 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque, as well as unique front and rear fascia treatments, upgraded performance brakes and two available carbon fiber aerodynamics packages.
A full pricing breakdown for the 2022 Cadillac CT4 lineup, including both V-Series model variants, can be seen in the chart embedded below. Price increases have been applied across almost all trim levels and powertrain/drivetrain combinations. These increases range from $300 to $2,500. It’s also worth noting the destination and freight charge has risen from $995 to $1,195, however the freight charge for the CT4-V Blackwing is still $995.

still more & less a beautiful car, colours, but we know already a transition to leave in past… so, buying seems inappropriate … this garnet metallic is nice, but have to pay, why should we pay for colours, and to black & white colours not ? is not the time the robot spray this the same ? why still those packages bs? does it have a green ? turquoise ?
All of Cadillacs competitors charge extra for all but 1 or 2 paint colors.
Yes some paints cost more to make. Tri-coats and metallics. Matte’s are crazy expensive and are impossible to care for.
Can anyone confirm whether the 2022 CT4-V (not blackwing) is currently rolling down the assembly line? I’ve got an order in for one, but My Candain dealer has not yet got an allocation for one. Just curious if they are only producing the Backwing Models of CT4 and CT5 first and not yet building the other models. Thanks in advance for any and all info, Cheers!
To follow up with Dean’s question, it seems that all of the “new” inventory in Los Angeles are 2021 models so are 2022 models coming off the line? It seems odd to have a 2022 configurator online only to be shown 2021 models as new for the local inventory. I’m willing to wait a few more months for a 2022 model otherwise I’ll have to look at competition to see if they have better inventory although I’d rather not.
