Fans who donate to the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum will be entered to win the coupe in a drawing set to take place August 13th, 2022, at 10:00 p.m. CDT. For those who may not know, the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum, located in Knoxville, Iowa, is the only museum in the world that is exclusively dedicated to sprint car racing. First opening in 1991, the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization providing education and resources on the sport of sprint car racing, with an average of 30 to 35 open-wheel race cars on display, as well as a variety of exhibits available throughout the year.
Now, the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum is hosting this 2022 Corvette C8.R IMSA GTLM Championship Edition sweepstakes as a fundraiser to support the museum. Donations provide fans with a chance to win this Corvette C8.R Special Edition Coupe, finished in Hypersonic Gray and equipped with graphics inspired by the C8.R Corvette racecar.
Further features include a High-Wing Spoiler in Carbon Flash, yellow brake calipers, black Trident design wheels with the Jake logo, black lug nuts, Carbon Flash exterior mirrors, black side rockers, and black splash guards. The special edition model also includes the Z51 Performance Package and 3LT trim level. Behind the cabin is the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 gasoline engine, rated at 495 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque with the optional performance exhaust.
The grand prize in this sweepstakes also includes $25,000 in cash. Alternatively, the winner can opt for the $75,000 grand prize cash option.

I am 5’8 but with a bad left leg I could get into a business associates vette but needed help to get out. I guess you can’t blame the car for that.
Years ago I recall reading a news item about newly-produced Corvettes that fell into a pit after an earthen collapse at production facilities at Bowling Green, KY.
Another event took place recently: a major tornado has destroyed many Corvettes in production or in pre-sale storage at GM’s Bowling Green storage site.
While I’m a bit older than the first Corvette produced and have been interested in its evolution, does anyone think that Mother Nature is sending “big picture” messages regarding vehicle emissions?
Dumb ass
Saw one at Capitol Chevrolet. I disagree. I think she was born to be on the cover of a magazine! What a beauty!
Everyone has an opinion, I have a 21 C8 Z51 red mist and it is a piece of art work ,, thank you GM
If it actually looked as good as it does on the cover of Car and Driver I would consider buying one ,,, BUT it don’t.
Go figure.
