General Motors’ Chevrolet brand has entered a partnership with a pro-LGBTQ media company called Q.Digital to create a new “series of documentaries and in-depth articles around leading LGBTQ issues,” as part of a content series called “Authentic Voices of Pride.”
The Chevrolet-sponsored Authentic Voices of Pride series will be hosted on Q.Digital’s news and current events site, LGBTQ Nation. In a press release, Q.Digital said the series “will tackle some of the community’s most important issues, bringing context and information to LGBTQ people and their allies on these topics, while driving a conversation and contribution to create lasting change.”
Authentic Voices of Pride will consist of both “deeply researched editorial pieces,” as well as “documentary-style interviews with celebrities, influencers, and everyday people from within the LGBTQ community,” Q.Digital also said.
As part of its involvement in Authentic Voices of Pride, Chevrolet will donate a total of $125,000 to five different LGBTQ-associated charities, including Family Equality, Black Queer Town Hall, Athlete Ally, the Ruth Ellis Center and Lambda Legal. Chevy says the program will be the “most aggressive outreach campaign to the LGBTQ community,” in the brand’s 109-year history.
“At Chevrolet we have a history of leading and supporting initiatives that promote inclusion and diversity,” said Chevy marketing VP Steve Majoros. “With this latest LGBTQ+ focused partnership, we are building on that history and reinforcing Chevy’s commitment to driving substantive cultural progress. Authentic Voices of Pride highlights the stories, struggles, and triumphs of LGBTQ+ individuals to continue to be a driver for societal change and progress.”
The first video in the Authentic Voices of Pride series launched on September 8th, turning the spotlight on LGBTQ families and the “unique set of challenges that LGBTQ people face when it comes to raising families.” The video features interviews with Lance Bass and Stacey Stevenson, the Chief Executive Officers of Family Equality, a non-profit dedicated to the advancement of legal and lived equality for LGBTQ families. This is also the charity that will receive the first grant donation from Chevrolet from its $125,000 fund.

Do u think Chappelle will buy one…probably NOT….
My point, gm making this political and if any new sales from my dollar goes to this, count me out – not playing this corporate kiss ass marketing scheme.
What about St. Jude Childrens Hospital, or other Childrens Hospitals paying for kids with cancer and other life ending ailments, adult cancer foundations, disabled military and family, what about disabled firefighters and family, hell…what about Hispanics, Asians, Blacks, females, males, and teenagers.
IMO – Stupid. When will corporate stop kissing ass of titles instead of keeping it simple and promote discounts for all… CRT in marketing. Continue the academia CRT to gm buyers…stupid.
JMO….
How is this political? They do support black history month, hispanic heritage month, asian heritage month. Not sure what critical race theory has to do with this rambling…
Wrong move G.M.. I am done with my favorite brand for 60 years….I agree with the statements above……I will never buy another G. M. product…end of story….. let’s go Brandon !
Gm. Is like the rest of corporate America. They want to separate us into small groups to keep us divided against each other instead of we the people it’s you people!
Good God gm WOKE UP!!
I agree with the comment above this is political And one thing you can’t do is fix the political system It will always be messed up, But what you could do is focus on improving your cars Quality, you could try to fix that,
Hitler was the one who used the WOKE AGENDA, which is political correctness & division
among people to control the masses. No more Chevy’s for me. Sick of political agendas,
let’s go Brandon is right!!!
Chevy is promoting this with children ? No way ! Was considering a new Chevy pickup but will not support any company promoting evil ! Wrong move Chevy !
Smh should have stayed away from politics. 6 Camaros . 3 s10s . Equinox. 2 1500s . 2 impalas . An an now will never buy another cross badge vehicle / so disappointed 👎🏼
Drove my chevy to the levee but the levee was dry. So I traded it for a Toyota. I will keep my old Chevy, but will not buy a new one.
Well guess the last new GM I purchased will be my last one ever. Sorry GM stop drinking the political kool aid. All our cars for the past 20 plus years have been GM and we have bought a new one every 1-2 years. Wrong move, guess you don’t know your client base.
Was looking at a chevy truck to buy but after seeing this. No, not happening. Im not buying a truck so you can put money towards this. There are people dieing of cancer but put your money into this? Pathetic. Geuss i wont be buying another of anything from you until this is over.
Done with GM, good luck with that brilliant decision.
GM has been my go to for 50 years,,, I will no longer support a company that glorifies what’s wrong with today’s society. GM should be embarrassed by bowing to political pressure’s and not supplying all types of people with a quality vehicle!! SHAME ON YOU!!

Why are we being made to endorse the gay agenda. I bought a 2019 2500 4X4 High country it will be my last Chevrolet. I’m not gay.
What’s the gay agenda? Being treated equally as everyone else?
I very much so love my GM!!! This is my third one. , During my years in school as a aviation a maintenance engineer my Chevy helped me get back-and-forth from school to work I’m a single mom of 3 kids and the kids and I just really appreciated the durability of my Chevy!
Keep moving forward strong
