C8 Corvette Stingray Does It In Black And Yellow With Savini SV-F5 Wheels: Video

The C8 Corvette Stingray has what it takes to turn heads, especially when rolling on some tasty aftermarket wheels. Now, we’re getting exactly that with the following feature video showing the mid-engine Vette hitting the blacktop on a set of Savini SV-F5 wheels.
Based out of Anaheim, California, Savini Wheels offers a variety of wheel collections for both luxury and performance applications. These particular rollers, the SV-F5, offer a combination of high strength and low weight through the company’s latest advanced flow formed technology. Available in 20-, 21-, and 22-inch diameters, the SV-F5 can be had in a number of different finishes as well, such as Gloss Black and Matte Bronze.
Finished in black and added to this C8 Corvette Stingray, the new rollers do well to complement the sports car’s eye-catching Accelerate Yellow paint job, especially with the yellow detailing around the rim, which offsets the yellow brake calipers underneath. Add in the black exterior details, including for the front spoiler lip, sideview mirrors, side intake boomerang trim, and rear spoiler, and the black-and-yellow color theme certainly has our attention.
The video does well to showcase all this visual punch. Clocking in at about 1-and-a-half minutes, the video shows the C8 Corvette Stingray both parked and driving down the road, with the Southern California sun playing off the paint and blue skies above. While General Motors offers a variety of different wheel options for the new mid-engine Vette, sporty rollers like these look to make for a perfect fit.

As a reminder, the C8 Corvette Stingray is based on the mid-engine Y2 platform, with the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 gasoline mounted behind the cabin to produce 490 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. Production takes place at the GM Bowling Green Assembly facility in Kentucky.
