2023 Corvette To Lose Morello Red Interior

The 2023 Corvette will not be available with the Morello Red interior color, Chevy announced during a product presentation at Petit Le Mans last weekend.
Chevy representatives were present at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia this past weekend for Petit Le Mans, a 10-hour endurance race that serves as the season finale for the IMSA WeatherTech Championship. With so many sports car fans assembled in one place, the automaker saw the event as the perfect opportunity to host a product presentation for the newly unveiled 2023 Corvette Z06 and answer some audience questions about the vehicle.
During the presentation, a Chevy spokesperson confirmed the Morello Red Dipped Napa leather interior would be dropped from the Corvette’s order book for the 2023 model year. The Morello Red interior color will be replaced by a new Adrenaline Red Dipped Napa leather interior that uses a lighter shade of red. The Morello Red Dipped interior color option was offered on the 2020, 2021 and 2022 model year Corvette Stingray in the 3LT trim level only and carried a $590 price premium over the no-cost interior color options.
Just as it did for the 2022 model year Corvette Stingray, Chevy is expected to introduce various small changes and updates to the nameplate for 2023, including new interior and exterior colors, as well as different options and features. The 2023 model year will also see the introduction of the new Corvette Z06, which offers customers a more track-ready performance offering thanks to its widebody design, 670 horsepower 5.5L LT6 V8 engine and available Z07 Performance Package, among other performance enhancements. The Z06 will enter production at the GM Bowling Green Assembly plant next summer.

I like the interior better than the exterior of most GM products theses days
Nothing can touch the Vette on the interior from any GM products also except for the LYRIQ and Escalade.

A thank you to those of you that responded to my plea to get the 2022 C8’s built and delivered! I know a lot of you would love to get your hands on that Z06! I agree that it’s a beautiful car but, all I’m asking is fill all the 2022 orders! That way we won’t have another repeat of people not getting there orders filled as in 21! I do understand Covid and parts shortage’s played a role! I just hoping for a better end result!
Must not been a popular interior color choice or was not enough takers to keep it going for ’23? But I thought the idea was to give Vette owners more choices so why drop it for lighter shade of red if bespoking out the vehicle?
my 2020 has Morello… get many compliments on it. Adrenaline is too bright for my taste.
I didn’t order the red but the Morello would have been my choice! Actually looked like the color red I had in my Durango SRT which had many good compliments. Tomg
I will miss this. My first order was for a Morello Red with an exterior I won’t tell you, Chevy made me pay a premium color-combination-override for my Morello interior. The car (a 2020) did not get built, the order got canceled. When I placed the new order for a 2021 Corvette C8, I switched to Adrenaline Red interior. My car got built, people compliment the interior.
For the 2023 Z06… I have not decided, but it looks like Morello is not an option!
I am sad to hear that the Morello Red interior is going away for the 2023 Corvette C8. I originally placed an order for a white or black C8 with Morello Red interior. It was my dream car look and feel. But after waiting for 9 months, I discovered another new 2020 C8 1LT sitting on a show room floor in Vancouver, WA. What color was it you ask? It is a white exterior with Jet Black interior.
I am in love with my current car, but I have been thinking about its replacement for 2023. I was sure I would be able to get my original dream car, a Corvette C8 3LT white exterior with Morello Red interior. With this one article, it is the worst news I have heard all day. Albeit only 5:30am, PST, as I am reading this. Hopefully, I will get over it by 2023 when I accomplish my next stretch goal, a 2023 or 2024 Corvette C8 eRay!
I was wanting the Morello Red in my 2023 which will have Ceramic Matrix Gray paint but now the only red interior will be Adrenalin Red which i don’t really care for.
I guess I can assume the answer, but if the Chevy people showed up at Atlanta Motor Speedway with a 2023 vette….did that one have the possible new interior? Is it confirmed that they will have a new interior for the entire 2023 run? Start-to-finish?
