The 2022 Chevrolet Suburban is assembled by GM USA at the GM Arlington plant in Arlington, Texas. Both the 2022 Chevy Tahoe and 2022 Chevy Suburban went into production on October 4th of this year, as previously reported exclusively by GM Authority. The two Chevy models, along with their GMC (Yukon / Yukon XL) and Cadillac (Escalade / Escalade ESV) platform mates are the only models whose production GM didn’t idle during the ongoing microchip shortage. The automaker did so by allocating chips from other vehicle lines to the full-size SUVs.
