Watch The 2023 Corvette Z06 Reveal Right Here: Video

The 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06 will debut Tuesday, October 26th, at 12 p.m. EDT, making its official introduction in a new film streamed live over the internet. The best place to watch the new Corvette Z06 reveal is right here on GM Authority.

The reveal video, which is titled “Putting the World on Notice,” will be 30 minutes long and will feature pro basketball player and gold medalist Devin Booker, plus YouTube superstar and performance driver Emelia Hartford. Following the conclusion of the new 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06 reveal video, Chevrolet will host a panel discussion with key players from the new mid-engine sports car’s development, providing further insights into what makes it tick.

Just last week, General Motors dropped a fresh teaser video giving us a few new tidbits and hints as to what expect in the forthcoming reveal. Among these was the suggestion that the 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06 will rev to a 8,600 rpm, while the teaser video also gave us a brief glimpse of the upcoming 2023 Corvette Z06 Convertible.

Mounted just behind the cabin, the new go-faster C8 Vette will mount the naturally aspirated 5.5L V8 LT6 gasoline engine, which is expected to produce upwards of 615 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque. Based on the V8 mounted in Corvette C8.R race car, standout features of the Z06’s LT6 engine include a flat-plane crank, dual overhead cams, and a very exotic-sounding exhaust note.

Late in September, General Motors released the first official image of the new 2023 Corvette Z06, giving us a clear view of the vehicle’s styling, including the revised front fascia and wider stance. The image also shows off some new split-spoke wheels, finished in in silver and housing large red brake calipers. The sides of the new Corvette Z06 are adorned by revised “wishbone” side intake trim, while the rear end will rock a center-mounted exhaust treatment with quad exhaust tips.

Further features will include the latest Magnetic Ride Control suspension and more-aggressive suspension tuning.

  1. This car is going to go down as one of the greatest cars Chevrolet has ever created. ESPECIALLY in the time and environment in which it is born, with EVs and autonomous pods…

This one…she’s going to tickle the heartstrings and arouse goosebumps across the country, no matter what brand you love. Raw, RAW power that screams to just a few hundred RPMs short of 9k and without ANY boost. Talk about old skool.

    Should be absolutely extraordinary.

  2. With the new flat-plane crank V-8, the Corvette ZO6 has finally arrived to supercar status!

    1. I agree, but also think this should have been the engine in the C8 when it first released.

  3. A beautiful Vette indeed. No doubt the most eye catching Chevrolet ever. But where are you motor heads going to drive a 615 hp Corvette? Do you all have race tracks in your back yard? Or do you rev up the engine at the stop light after you slowed down from your 40mph cruise around town! Vroom Vroom!! Bet I get as many looks at my 2023 Z06 with a 283 195 hp engine!!!!! Can’t wait for the responses on this comment!!

    1. “my 2023 Z06 with a 283 195 hp”? Your words – not mine. Bubba, you might want to rethink your reply a little. And yes we do have a track in our back yard, just some 45 minutes away at Hallett Raceway in Jennings, Ok. Oh, and I can’t wait for the responses as well…. lol

    2. 0-60 2.9sec. and I know nobody will exceed the posted speed limit and see what is beyond 60mph 😉 trust me Mr Montgomery, the car is not all about looks.

      1. Pretty sure you can buy the engine for less than $150,000 and put it in your GTO or 442 and speed 0-60 in 2.9 seconds if you’re not interested in looks!! Hey, we’re all having fun and that’s what it’s all about. At least for me anyway! Enjoy your day. Heading down to Home Depot in my Z283 and watching the heads turn as I sit in traffic going 0 to 0 in 0 seconds!

  6. Robert, You don’t drive these cars. You just start them in your garage and rev them to let all the neighbors know you have one and they don’t. It could be 1000 hp.. doesn’t matter.. and my zo6 will rev higher than your 283. (sarcasm intended)

  9. My guess..125k on the low end and 145k on the high end.

Considering N/A performance and 8.5k rpm with the Dual clutch … well worth it. Listening, that pull is fast to 8.5k, it’s quick!

    Any one else…

  10. GM should fire CYBORG and ROBOCOP designers and hire PININFARINA for their body designs…The mid engine and flat plane are awesome but the car is just too heavy and looks “bulky” at a touch below 4000 pounds, by comparison non of the real supercars weigh that much or more than 3400 pounds…
Good that the 4 exhaust pipes are centered once again but the tail lights in the C8 are very ugly, they look like cheap constipated Camaro’s tail lights…One question: What ever happened to the classic and cleaner looking round tail lights (2 lights)?…
Lastly, the side vents added a line over the rear fenders (just below the gas cap) that looks horribly out of place…
Maybe someone at Chevy needs to learn that lighter, simpler and cleaner lines are better!

  11. Classic Looks:
You are right on the money…Heavy, bulky, ugly tail lights and over stressed lines…

  12. It’ll be interesting to see how well time treats the looks of the car. They are kind of wearing on me, just a week into the reveal. The performance is another thing. The only way to compete with it is to get another Z06 with that Z07 package. This will likely lighten a few wallets to the point that the wives will believe their husbands have helium on the brain.
