GMC Sierra HD Discount Takes $500 Off Price In October 2021

During October 2021, a nationwide GMC Sierra HD discount reduces the price of select 2021 models by up to $500. To clarify, the offer is available for both 2021 GMC Sierra 2500HD and the 2021 GMC Sierra 3500HD. In order to qualify for the discount, the buyer must finance with GM Financial and must be a current owner of a 2007 or newer Buick or GMC vehicle, or a current lessee of a 2016 or newer Buick or GMC vehicle.

The lack of worthwhile incentives is likely the result of strong demand and limited inventory. GM does not appear to be offering any manufacturer rebates for remaining 2020 Sierra HD pickup truck models.

GMC Sierra HD Incentives

  • Featured Purchase Offers: $500 total rebate for current GMC / Buick owners and lessees who finance thru GM Financial

The GMC Sierra HD discount offer referenced above will remain valid through November 1st, 2021.

  2. We haven’t been able to even look at a 2021 (any model) new GMC purchase in Alaska this entire past year unless you looked at a neighbors who bought theirs elsewhere and brought it up. Not sure what good this $500 would do for anyone even if there were 2021 models available as financing $60k+ would negate any positive with your first payment, like it never even happened. Thanks for humoring us though.

  3. The NEW heavy duty trucks are almost nonexistent on the dealer lots. If you want one, you’re probably going to have to order one and wait about six months like I did. Probably the longest six months of my life! Lol

    1. I ordered a 2500HD mid-August and it shipped last week!

      1. Gas or diesel? What trim level? That might all make a difference. Ordered mine mid-April. It’s presently 60 miles from dealership. Transported to that point by rail. Now waiting on a semi truck to deliver from there.

Mine is a diesel LTZ loaded. They deleted the heated rear seat because of the microchip shortage. Like that’s going to make much of a difference! LOL. I know they were not offering the LTZ Premium package for awhile (because of the chip shortage) but is available again now. I would assume sales went down because guys weren’t able to order them how they wanted them, so they made the package available again. If they would have deleted the LTZ Premium package off my truck, I would not have wanted it!

          1. Hopefully your truck comes for you soon. Definitely a lot of variables in when it may arrive, according to everything that I have learned through the process. I’ve also heard that each dealership is allocated just so many. I think that dealerships with higher volume are allocated more trucks. I ordered mine from the highest volume dealership in Minnesota. Took exactly 6 months. 2022 Chevy LTZ 3500 HD SRW CC With a diesel. Loaded. I know that the Chevy and GMC HD trucks are manufactured at the same plant in Flint Michigan, so that should have no bearing on when you get your truck. I even upgraded my truck from a loaded LT to an LTZ about midstream through the order. I’ve been hearing all kinds of things like that particular plant shutting down for a week a while back because of the chip shortage. That is even with GM allocating micro chips to the large trucks and SUVs. Just a lot of parts that go into a truck, especially nowadays with all the options. I’ve heard a lot of these options can require thousands of micro chips for EACH one! Bottom line is that it will come when it comes. And that will be later rather than sooner unfortunately. I had formed a habit of driving through local dealerships a couple times a week. One day I put my hand on my wife’s thigh and told her to bear with me. LOL Trying to be patient definitely helps!

  4. Gm has to be able to first release the HD trucks that have been stopped from selling because of the brake modulator issue
