I have not.
4 dealers in my area will not order trucks with them,the only ones they sold were via dealer trade.
It may satisfy my needs,I usually only trailer my ATV on a aluminum trailer.
I am not fond of the 8 speed trans.
I am wary of new engines until they have been real world tested for about 4 years when some have put 150k on them.I know how to avoid issues with the valvetrain problems with LT based engines after the warranty expires.
I have an issue with offering a “rebate”for accepting a base engine,it means the real MSRP for a 5.3 is $3500.
No but can it tow????
Why does GM keep offering rebates on vehicles they cannot even produce? One GM dealer in my area cannot get any trucks to sell. Their lot is mostly empty, along with Buick’s
1.They have to advertise something to get you into the dealers.
2.The competition is advertising.
3.They probably have contracts for advertising so it is a ”use it or lose it”situation.
