Costco members who purchase select new Chevy vehicles between now and January 3rd, 2022 will be entitled to receive a special members-only incentive, the American retail chain has announced.
The new Costco member incentives include $1,000 cash back on the purchase of any new 2021 or 2022 model-year Chevy Tahoe, Suburban, Silverado 1500, Silverado HD, Colorado, Blazer, Equinox, Traverse, and Trailblazer.
To clarify, the Costco member incentives do not cancel out manufacturer incentives that may be available with these Chevy vehicles, and are instead added to any available rebates.
The Costco Auto Program provides members with prearranged pricing on various makes and models, funneling vehicle sales through a network of approved dealerships. An individual must be a Costco member in order to take advantage of the incentives offered through the Costco Auto Program.
Current offers for Chevy vehicles include a $3,500 Silverado discount, which amounts to a $4,500 when paired with the $1,000 Costco discount. While the savings might be ideal, buyers still face the challenge of a limited supply across most other models due to the ongoing microchip shortage.
Production of the Silverado 1500 at the Fort Wayne plant Indiana and the Silao plant in Mexico is currently at full capacity as is production of the Chevy Traverse began at full capacity today (October 4th). Meanwhile, production of Equinox is idle at the GM CAMI plant in Ingersoll, Canada, the Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico, and the San Luis Potosà plant, also in Mexico. Chevrolet Blazer production has also been halted at the Ramos Arizpe plant, and is set to return on October 15th.

Thanks for the Chevrolet production status update list, and Costco incentive info. Very helpful for those of us in the market for a new vehicle. Adding a column for lead times would be helpful too since I may need to order one since availability is limited.
I would suggest talking to your dealer
Hope you are a Costco customer because you had to be one on or before September 30th 2021
It should be current, not previously enrolled.
I love Costco but I am surprised that they did not offer this incentive for a Bolt EV or EUV. You can’t purchase one of those either………….
I got an extra grand off because I used Costco when I bought my 2019 Stingray. When there are cars it works great.
