Chevy Bolt EUV Discount Offers Scarce During October 2021

Chevy Bolt EUV discount offers are non-existent during the month of October, which is even more conservative than the small cash allowance that was available last month.
For those who are unfamiliar with the product line, the Bolt EUV is just entering the market for the 2022 model year, and was unveiled alongside the refreshed 2022 Bolt EV.
The all-new 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV features a similar, though not identical design to the smaller Bolt EV. The most substantial differences include a more upright hood, a different C-pillar treatment, and a longer wheelbase.
Chevy Bolt EUV Incentives
The Bow Tie brand began offering incentives for the Bolt EUV in July, when a lease deal made the electrified crossover available for $299 per month. Then, a $500 cash allowance was available in August, and offered again in September.
Comparatively, discount offers for the smaller, refreshed 2022 Bolt EV were identical to the aforementioned Bolt EUV offers during September and August. However, in July, a $9,500 cash allowance was available for the pre-facelift 2021 Bolt EV model, which shrunk from $10,500 in June.

For reference, here are the 2022 Bolt EUV trim levels with their corresponding starting MSRPs, destination freight charge included:
- 1LT – $33,995
- 2LT – $38,495
Like the Bolt EV, the EUV also rides on the GM BEV2 platform and utilizes the same single-drive electric motor, which produces 200 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque, fed by the 65-kWh lithium-ion battery, which provides 250 miles of range per charge.

Don’t think you’ll be seeing ANY discounts on anything because the dealers have NO cars! What they do have will most likely be sold at MSRP OR HIGHER! Right now I would guess that it is the service departments that are keeping the lights on at dealers all across the country?
IF you’re thinking about buying a 2022 car, you’ll be lucky if you get it at the end of the model year at MSRP OR HIGHER with NO ETA! Sad situation. The ONLY good thing about all of this is if you are coming to the end of your lease and you are NOT a GM Financial customer, your RESIDUAL VALUE on your lease is way LOWER than what your car is worth. So, go to CarMax or any other dealer, get the car appraised, sell it to them to pay off your lease and get a cashier’s check for the difference. Of course, that’s assuming that you have another car to drive! Right now, and I have another year to go on my lease, my residual for 3 years is like $18,800! According to KBB, a private sale would be close to what the sticker price was in September 2019! Looks like I’ll be buying my car because right now, after 2 years, I have 13,300 miles on her! Looks as good as the day I picked her up as do all my cars!
There is a sale ban on new 2022 Bolt EV and Bolt EUV until the battery issues are resolved, and the manufacturing is restarted. That’s why there are no financial incentives.
Right! And I don’t know why GM Authority is writing these articles as if GM is selling them right now, it is really ridiculous. GM Authority, at least acknowledge that there is a hold on the sale of all Bolt EV and Bolt EUVs until GM rnnounces that the battery issues have been resolved an sales have restarted. Come on man, do your duty as journalists and tell the truth.

Have you ever been in one of these BOLTS? I have. It is made out of plastic primarily. The seats have very CHEAP material coverings. Look for something else!!
