The online configurator tool for the 2022 Chevy Tahoe has gone live, allowing customers and Chevy fans to spec their own version of the full-size SUV.
The 2022 Chevy Tahoe configurator tool allows users to select the vehicle’s trim level, drive type and engine, along with the exterior and interior colors and which features and options they’d like to equip it with. The tool also allows them to view pricing for their preferred trim level/specification. Finally, once their configuration is completed, they can click’ View Inventory’ to find vehicles at Chevrolet dealerships throughout the United States that are equipped similarly (or sometimes even identically) to the vehicle they created in the online configurator.
We went ahead and created our own 2022 Chevy Tahoe to show what can be done with the online tool. Our example vehicle is a 2022 Chevy Tahoe High Country equipped with four-wheel-drive and the available 6.2L L87 V8 engine. We also fitted it with the $5,605 High Country Deluxe package, which includes desirable equipment like Adaptive Cruise Control, a panoramic power moonroof, power-retractable side assist steps with illuminated perimeter lighting, Air Ride Adaptive suspension and all the content from the Max Trailering Package. We also selected the 22-inch multi-spoke Gloss Black LPO-level accessory wheels (a $2,995 option) as well as the Rear Seat Media System ($1,995). This vehicle would be priced from $85,190, including a $1,695 destination and freight charge.
GM has applied minor changes and updates to the Chevy Tahoe for the 2022 model year. Highlights include the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine being added as optional equipment for the RST, Z71, and Premier trim levels, and Magnetic Ride Control being added as standard equipment in RST trim level models equipped with the 6.2L L87 V8. We covered the 2022 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban changes in-depth in a previous article, which can be viewed at this link.
The 2022 Chevy Tahoe and 2022 Chevy Suburban are both produced at the GM Arlington Assembly plant in Texas.

May I Order One As Self Import To Israel ? The Same High Country 4X4 Or Z71 With The Same Equipment .
Did GM ever think we would like a 2 door??????? Presently, it looks like a bus!!!!!!!!!
I have had a Tahoe High country on order since April but the dealer says they do not know when it will be built. Am I wasting my time? Should look to another similar vehicle from another source? I have been a loyal GM owner ( Cadillac’s and Tahoe’s) for over 20 years, please give me some hope or at least tell me if the vehicle will be built.
Regards,
Larry McKinney
Larry, GM and all the other manufacturers are pumping out cars and SUVs like crazy. Go to your nearest airport and find the rental car storage areas. Your high country is in there somewhere:
