The 2021 Chevy Silverado HD is an impressive bit of kit right out of the box, but with a few extra upgrades, this pickup can be transformed into something much more. Such is the case for this lifted Silverado HD from Powerhouse Performance.
This 2021 Chevy Silverado HD started life as a 2500HD LTZ Duramax, but now, it’s rolling with a number of tasty upgrades to help it stand out from the crowd. The first thing to grab us is the stance, which is now significantly elevated thanks to an 8-inch lift kit from CST Performance Suspension. The kit includes fully adjustable shocks, as well as Atlas leaf springs in the rear. We also spot an aluminum skid plate and few other components fitted to this fully optioned truck.
Indeed, with the new lift kit installed, this Chevy Silverado HD now has a commanding presence on the road. To complement the extra ride height, Powerhouse Performance also installed new 20-inch by 9-inch Innov8 Racing Inc. G600 wheels with a simulated bead lock around the rim, which present in a multi-spoke design and black finish. The new wheels are wrapped in 40-inch Toyo Open Country MT tires, a compound designed to offer both on-road and off-road performance, as well as the aggressive look needed for a build like this.
Of course, ingress and egress in a lifted 2021 Chevy Silverado HD can be a little tricky, so Powerhouse Performance finished it off with a set of AMP Research PowerStep running boards, which also come with LED lighting for use at night.
Powerhouse Performance didn’t mention any upgrades under the hood, but the factory spec has plenty going for it as is. As a reminder, the Chevy Silverado 2500HD Duramax runs the turbodiesel 6.6L V8 L5P, which is rated at 445 horsepower at 2,800 rpm and 910 pound-feet of torque at 1,600 rpm. The ‘eight connects to the Allison-branded 10-speed automatic transmission.

I bet the gold teeth or country boys who like driving the mall parking lots would like this
@Getoffmynutz:
Exactly. Lifted, oversize, monster trucks are essentially mini-vans for men. Uses primarily as commuters and to show off to other men.
It’s so funny to see people ride around in these who never will take them off-roading except when they hit curb
Hehe. I know.
I can’t imagine many are used as actual trucks. Hauling stuff. They’re too high off the ground to easily load junk in the bed, and the owners wouldn’t DREAM of getting it dirty or scratching the finish.
Pe**s extention surgery would be cheaper.
You could say the same about cars that are never tracked. To each their own
At least with cars they’re most already in their element (streets and roads) where a Bro-dozer isn’t ideal for normal conditions.
🤣👍
I haven’t heard them called bro-dozer before lol.
No custom Upper Control arms? This kit is a poser’s dream I guess
Ugly as ugly can get! GM/Chevrolet front, hood, & grills, are Ugly! Even if it had some chrome, it’d be ugly. I must be too old fashioned to like the all painted front ends. One reason I Didn’t buy the Z71. I bought the 4×4 with all chrome front end, Before, the latest body style came out. There’s a used truck dealer in my area, that advertises their used trucks. Their saying, “Don’t but no ugly truck”! Between owning a 8 speed, & the level of new Ugly, I’ll never buy a new GM/Chevrolet truck!
small cars & people in crosswalks beware. the new truck are to tall.
Looks Badass!
