GM Currently Building Remaining Chevy Bolt EUV Launch Edition Models

The 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV expands the all-electric Bolt lineup with a new, more practical model variant, offering several different trim levels at launch. One of these is the appropriately named Chevy Bolt EUV Launch Edition, and now, GM Authority has learned that General Motors is currently building out the remaining units of the Bolt EUV Launch Edition model.

Previously, General Motors built only some of Chevy Bolt EUV Launch Edition models following the debut of the Chevy Bolt EUV. Now, however, GM Authority has learned that the remaining units are hitting production as of this writing.

As GM Authority covered previously, the 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV Launch Edition comes equipped with a variety of standard content, including the following (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):

  • GM’s Super Cruise driver assist system (UKL)
  • Illuminated charging port (62G)
  • Power, dual-pane, panoramic sunroof (CAJ)
  • Premier badge (Z4K)
  • Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking (UGN)
  • 17-inch Dark Android aluminum wheels with Black painted inserts (PXS)
  • Bose premium seven-speaker stereo (UQA)
  • Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Plus system with connected Navigation (IOU)

Pricing for the 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV Launch Edition starts at $43,495. However, reservations for the Launch Edition model are full.

Two other trim levels are on offer with the 2022 model year, including the Premier, and the base-level LT. The former includes 17-inch machined-face aluminum wheels with carbon flash painted pockets, a non-illuminated charging port, and, funny enough, no Premier badge. Pricing for the Premier starts at $38,495.

There are three optional packages on offer as well, including the Super Cruise Package, the Sun & Sounds Package, and the Sun & Sound + Super Cruise Package.

All three 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV models come equipped with an identical powertrain spec, namely a 65-kWh lithium-ion battery and single electric motor to drive the front wheels. Output is measured at 200 horsepower, while a full battery will yield upwards of 250 miles of range.

  3. Dear Author, JONATHAN LOPEZ, please explain why they are building them when my dealer said there is a stop sale order on ALL Bolt EVs and EUVs? He refused to sell me an EUV I had on order and cancelled my order.

  6. The 2022 Bolt EUV and EV sales are only on hold until the batteries can be checked and and recall replacement done. These are great electric vehicles and chances are they have no battery issue. I got a 2022 Chevy Bole EUV 2 days before they stop selling them. The one I got has Super Cruise. This is a great small SUV.
