During September 2021, a Chevy Malibu discount lowers the price of the American-made sedan by $1,000 and is exclusive to 2021 Chevy Malibu models.
Chevy is also offering competitive leases for select 2021 Malibu models, with special incentives for current eligible lessees, and a nationwide monthly rate of $219.
As GM Authority previously reported, The General is no longer offering incentives for 2020 Chevy Malibu models and is not yet offering any manufacturer rebates for 2022 units.

Please give us a new generation that is competitive.
Unfortunately, this is the last current generation US Malibu, my guess is if there is a next-gen Malibu beyond 2024 or 2025, it will be build based on the Honda platform, just my opnion.
I’m not opposed. Honda builds the Accord here in Ohio.
EV only if it happens at all.
We looked at a new Malibu, and even rented one for a week on vacation, but I guess our Impala has spoiled us with the roomy seating and large trunk. We decided to keep our 2014 Impala.
Having owned a 2019 Malibu, take it from me you were smart to stick with the Impala.
This post is a joke Generous Motors has not built Malibu’s since last February!!!!!
100% correct. If they keep the Fairfax plant closed much longer the workers are going to forget how to get to work.
The Malibu and XT4 aren’t particularly competitive in their respective segments anyway.
The car may be more competitive if they would offer the 2.0T on the non-Premier versions. The 1.5T is ok but the 2.0T makes the car actually worth driving. Hey GM here is an idea, offer the RS with the 2.0T and guess what sales to the non-rental community might increase.
