The Chevy Suburban and Chevy Tahoe were completely redesigned and re-engineered for the 2021 model year. For the 2022 model year, Chevy’s full-sized SUVs are receiving various changes to equipment and features, including a 12-inch Digital Driver Information screen, a new Sport Performance package, new electronic limited slip differential, Buckle To Drive feature, and three new exterior colors. One of the other changes is the replacement of five existing wheels with five new ones. Here’s our first look at the newly available wheels for the 2022 model year.
Four of the five new-for-2022 Chevy Suburban and Tahoe wheels (RPO codes SRL, SSI, SSW and SRV) measure 22 inches in diameter, while the remaining one (RPO code SEM) measures 20 inches. Note that we don’t have a photo (just yet) of the SEM wheel. Additionally, all five wheels are LPO-level units, meaning that they are installed at the dealer.
In total, the 2022 Suburban and 2022 Tahoe offer 16 wheel choices. The rims are made from either steel or aluminum, range from 18 to 22 inches in diameter, and vary in design, width, and finish.
Availability varies by trim level. For instance, Commercial Fleet (1FL), LS, and LT models come with 18-inch wheels standard, while 20-inch wheels are standard on Premier and Z71 models, and 22-inch wheels are featured on RST and High Country models.
All 2022 Tahoe wheels available from the factory are shown above along with the corresponding RPO code, except for the dealer-installed 20-inch, multi-spoke gloss black wheels (SEM) as well as the dealer-installed 20-inch, multi-spoke chrome wheels (SF2). We’re also not including the standard 17-inch full-size spare wheel (S2B). Note that certain images are represented by two separate RPO codes since certain wheel options include a second, complete set of wheels.
The table below lists the 16 sets of 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe wheel options, along with the corresponding RPO Codes, diameters, widths, finishes, and trim level availability.

Looking forward to the updates for the 2022 models.
LOL! The Suburban and the Tahoe has more wheels selection than the C8.
And better looking too. If you buy a C8, you have to buy HRE or BBS wheels just to make the car look good. And keep you from staring at the boxy side intake flares behind the door.
The wheels shown in the vehicle shots look like something Honda rejected.
Unfortunately, nothing really exciting.
Only the SRL is interesting to me but wish it was a 20 in for more aggressive tires. GM should know 22s with Michigan potholes just won’t cut it.
